The owner (I presume) came over and talked to us about our food and how he appreciated us coming in. The staff are lovely! “Another excellent Wetherspooons pub. Was visiting Halifax as a fan of Exeter City Football Club. A long 275 miles, 6-hour coach journey, so refreshments were in order. It's only a short 5-minute walk from the Shay ground. I ordered the Gourmet Buffalo chicken burger meal. £11.92 including a pint of beer. The food was okay. I ordered on the Wetherspoons app, which means you get excellent, speedy service.”
