Sham is the best barber I’ve come across and is always my go to decision when booking. Mo is also a good barber. Overall, if your looking for a new barber I’d highly recommend this place.”

“As a Freemason, I visited for a lodge meeting (the Lodge uses the building). What a wonderful place, very nicely decorated and a great setting. Food was excellent, and while I'm no Trifle fan, those who had it, were very clearly happy with it, none survived the dinner! I look forward to coming back again when the lodge meets again, and hopefully explore some more.”

“A modern campus-based university with good access to Bradford centre. I've fond memories from 20 years ago, but a recent visit shows a lot has changed. Recent modernisations really show and there are some world-class teaching facilities available. The communal areas are spacious & the atmosphere both friendly & respectful. Highly recommended for many of the undergraduate & postgraduate courses.”

“Super clean and vibrant place. Lanes play well but there is what I found shortage of enough medium size balls (affected other friends) Staff very helpful and no shoes required but important to be wearing sturdy footwear. Toilets and parking available and there’s even a quiet space for prayer. Prices are fair in today’s climate but do book in advance and you can make use of the free drink (regular soft drink)”

“Me and some friends when in on a night out a while back when one of the lads had come back home for a stag night at 11pm and he went out at 9pm so we decide to go out and make are own fun. 5er in each which wasent that bad I though doorman collects it off you and tells you the rules when you come in the girls were friendly , and we felt not pressure to buy drinks or get a dance.”

“Jade always does a beautiful job of my nails, I’ve got quite weak nails, but thanks to the builder gel she uses under the gel colour, now I can enjoy any length and style I fancy, her price is competitive too. Always enjoy having a natter over nails at Jades, she’s lovely!”

“What a find!! We only stayed the one night however, we hope to return and stay longer and explore the area. Our room was lovely, clean, tidy, well decorated and with the river right by our window a relaxing sound before falling asleep. With the kitchen area on display it was nice to see where your breakfast was prepared. The breakfast choice was varied and expertly cooked. Decor throughout was tasteful for type and age of the building. Trevor, the owner, was so polite and had a great sense of humour, he was a right laugh. A real gem of a find is Over the Bridge. Highly recommend!!”

“I can highly recommend Manor Health for skin tag removal. From my first consultation with Ella I felt immediately reassured that I had made the right decision to call in and have my treatment done there. I had many tags under both my arms that I had removed at the same time. . I experienced very minor discomfort that was totally bearable during the process and then some stinging ( but I did have a lot of work done) that lasted no more than an hour. After that I had no issues whatsoever. In 2 weeks most of the tags had dropped off and my skin healed very quickly. At my follow up appointment there were still one or two tags that I preferred to have removed and Ella booked me in at no extra cost to have the procedure done. Katie did the follow up treatment and I had no problems at all. I am delighted with the outcome and there is hardly any obvious signs that I have had anything done. The staff at Manor Health have a very professional and caring approach. The customer service and communication is excellent and I will use their services again in the future.”

“Just returned from an excellent weekend at Hewenden Mill Cottages. The owners, Mr and Mrs Emmanuel, have thought of everything to make their cottages real homes from home. Good welcome breakfast with milk, cereal, toast, butter, jams, juice, tea and coffee (instant but a plunger is there if you prefer ground coffee). Very well equipped kitchen so lovely for cooking. Oil, salt and pepper there. We were in number 9 which was very comfortable, good linen, comfy sofas, downstairs loo, warm and cosy retreat from storm Deirdre's the freezing rain. Lots of space for hanging coats, a torch, umbrellas, smart TV. Really couldn't fault it and we will definitely return when visiting nearby family - and hopefully for more than a weekend. So much to explore still...”

“Loved it here & we'll definitely be going back. Lovely pint of stout, fair prices, really friendly & comfortable with a welcoming atmosphere. They've got an interesting selection of drinks which a lot of thought has obviously gone into. The downstairs reminds me of an old tap room & the upstairs, a snug. Really good micropubs like this one are putting 'shall we pop out for a couple?' back on my list of midweek after-work activities. Doesn't take as many people to make it feel like a social gathering, and that's the thing that makes a couple of hours out, a really enjoyable break from the grind. Try it, I guarantee you'll enjoy it & it'll do your mental health the world of good to get away from work & the house & be amongst people.”
