βReally great and helpful vets. Would highly recommend.β
β2ND UPDATE As always, imogen is the only person that Paco will allow to do his toenails, he is abit of a fairy lol. Always receive 5 star service from crossways. Over the many years of owning pets I have used many different vets but not one comes close to Crossways over last 15 years. I would never use another vet surgery. They truly care about ensuring their clients and the owners are getting the right information specific to their pet. My last bull terrier, Angel, had several strokes before getting dementia, and the only reason Angel continued to have such a great quality of life was down to Imogen and the work she put in ensuring everything was right. When Angel was almost 15 years old, we had to make that decision to put her to sleep, and imogen was there to do it as she always was, and even wrote a little tribute to Angel on the blue-cross rememberance page. We received very personal handwritten cards from Imogen, Chris and Maxine which we keep next to Angels ashes. After losing Angel we rescued another bully Xena, and she too will always be treated by Crossways, and they always go above and beyond. We took Xena in just other day as she was poorly, so I asked the vet if they would also do blood tests just to make sure everything was OK for my own piece of mind. Turned out her red blood cells were very high, but she is now back to normal. So Crossways don't treat owners like we are over the top, they are so understanding. As Xena is getting more and more stressed out with having toe nail clips now, I requested that she is sedated for her next clip, because of the state she gets into and they immediately agreed this would be better for Xena. If you have questions, they are always happy to provide info. So, Crossways for me are the best around. UPDATE1 Sadly we lost princess xena in jan 2024, on 26th March 2023. Dan gave our 2 new 4 year old bullies a full checkup as we had just picked them up from their first home and provided us with lots of options for their skin allergies. Fantastic service as always. THANKYOU TO THE ENTIRE STAFF AT CROSSWAYS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR OUR PETS.β
βI visited Heath vets to register my pet with them and move away from our previous veterinary practice. I was greeted by two friendly ladies at reception, Jodie dealt with my enquiry and was so friendly, kind and helpful. A lovely practice and lots of parking too. Friends highly recommended Heath Vets to me, I was very happy and impressed with the services they offer and the great customer service.β
βSo happy I moved my dog to this veterinary practice. Such kind vets who really care and listen and they always do their best to keep the costs down.β
βAlways a great experience at Cootes vets. All staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The care provided to your pet is outstanding. 100% recommend to all pet owners.β
βExcellent as always. So nice to know that my cat, Lucy, who is diabetic, is always in the best hands.β
βWe have been taking our cats to Catβs Whiskers for around 11 years now. It is so good to go to a cat only vet where the waiting area is calm and there are no dog noises! Amanda is an excellent vet, quiet and calm, the appointments are never rushed and are very thorough. As mentioned in previous reviews, you do have to join a pet plan but if you have pets, you owe them that at least. This way they get regular, preventative health checks and are always up to date with flea and worm treatment and vaccinations. I am more than happy to recommend Amanda and her team who all do a wonderful job of making you feel at home, and every effort is made to make the experience as comfortable and stress free as possible for the cats and their owners.β
βIβm always happy to take my dog Chico to see Deborah. She is very calm with him despite him being frightened. Good treatment all round.β
βTook our Staffordshire Bull Terrier for a health check. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were seen on time by a veterinary nurse. A full health check was completed, very caring and thorough. She listened and put our dog at ease which made the whole process easy. Thank you.β
βMy dog was there for her semi-annual check up. We were seen promptly. A very friendly and efficient vet. My dog (and me) were well looked after. It was all very fast and efficient.β
βAlways have a great experience at Medivet Brighton! The staff are super helpful - a very friendly receptionist team who have also helped us with general advise over the phone. Yemisi is fantastic with our kitten Ted and makes our appointments easy & enjoyable for us both! Very much recommend to pet owners who are looking for a centrally located vets with a great, friendly team!β
βOur dog has been having a series of problems with his rear end and these have been dealt with in a very caring way by the Vet. This has not only eased things for the dog but has also put us at ease. Bea, the vet, handles the dog as if it were her own. Cannot praise the practice high enough.β
βOutstanding service, used other vets but was not happy with service, we was recommended to anvil and used 2 times now, nothing to much trouble so happy Alistair will be looking after our animals. Well recommendedβ
βOne of our cats, Pop, was poorly over the Bank Holiday. Our usual vet was closed but forwarded us to New Priory Vets. The team there was very helpful. Roz the vet gave Pop an injection and emailed his file to our vet so we can follow up. We were very happy with the help our furbaby received and would highly recommend this vet.β
βFantastic experience with Southdown vets. Always really helpful on the phone and really friendly on reception. Vets have all been really helpful. My dog recently had to be sedated for ear checks and the attending practicioners (sorry I didn't catch their names!) made him really comfortable and were very understanding with him being very nervous. Wouldn't hestitate to recommend to anyone.β
βThey look after my doggy very well.. A big thank you for doing his nails xβ
βLovely team of receptionists and a phenomenal surgeon Chris. My dog Frodo snapped his cruciate ligament in April and then did his other leg in October. We have received the best care with 2 very successful operations with Chris that I couldnβt be more thankful for. Very happy I chose this practice to perform this. Thank you always, Amber & Frodo!β
βAbsolutely faultless! They were professional, kind and so knowledgeable. The vets offer lots of options to cover all price ranges, they take their time and donβt rush. The nurses are friendly, gentle and have a high level of knowledge. The staff on the desk (Georgia and Hannah) are treasures who have been nothing but delightful- keeping me informed, offering manageable appointments and being friendly and compassionate. I am so glad I moved to this practice for a second opinion.β
βWe were recently referred by our local vets to see Gavin .Our eleven and a half year old Staffie had started to suffer from extreme lack of energy which we were concerned about. We got an early appointment with Gavin who advised us she would need to stay overnight for tests and treatments as needed .She was diagnosed with heart failure. Two months on She is a different dog running, playing and so much happier due to the medication as prescribed. So it is with the care and attention given by Gavin and his team that we have our Lovely Tia back enjoying a good life.We would highly recommend this surgery. With thanks Phillip &Dianeβ
βEasy to book, vets and other staff all very friendly, competitive pricing also. Been coming here for years, plan to keep doing soβ

βBrilliant Worthing vets run by 2 very experienced vets with a large team - can always get an appointment for my cats. Open long hours. Good value for moneyβ

βI have always had good and professional help and advice from Grove Lodge. I have used them for many years for my cats and try and see Stephen Courtney who is very reassuring and βknows his stuffβ.β
βIβm very happy with Coastway in Lewes. All the vets and nurses have a great relationship with their patients and I have received good advice e.g. when my cat was being bullied. Vets are expensive but on various occasions Coastway staff have suggested ways of saving money. The appointments tend to be in the afternoon and itβs sometimes very difficult to exit the car park due to parked cars - not their fault I know.β
βLove this place! Itβs huge which means loads of choice for natural healthy dog treats and a large selection of natureβs menu frozen food which is good. I have yet to notice a brand sold by one of the larger pet chains that isnβt here and itβs all well priced too. Staff are also really nice. Only complaint would be all the dog snacks by the till, Iβm like a kid at the corner shop, by the time theyβve finished ringing through what I picked up in the shop, Iβve added several more items from their till side selection!β
