“We shamelessly come here at least once a week and really like it. My 2 year old is happy to play without me in the soft play and the people who run it are always very friendly and professional - they have even offered my little girl a sticker when she was kicking off about wanting a yoghurt to help distract her (2 year olds are brutal!). The toilets are clean and the changing facilities are very good. The food is good - they have a small kitchen but actually do really well considering the space they have and they have a decent, varied menu. Would currently highly recommend the breakfast wrap and it’s great value at just £4.50. I am incredibly grateful that this place exists as I don’t know what we would do if it wasn’t here, it’s become a regular staple in our routine and I hope my daughter continues to enjoy it so I can keep enjoying my coffees while they’re hot!”

“I know these guys had a difficult previous year but are back on form now, Feros kitchen menu is open and aligned on the website for ordering, and the 5 star hygiene rating is back. Last night I had the double chicken burger, which was genuinely so delicious, with fresh salad and bun, a generous amount of sauce and the chicken fillets were well cooked with fantastic flavour. We also had some sides and a pizza. The pizza isn't going to beat (and isn't pretending to be) a flame stone baked artisan Italian pizza, but it's still a lot better than the big chains and very tasty. Good guys in there, quick delivery and always get the order right.”

“2nd stay at midland way, it is such a nice place felt like my own little flat, very welcoming and modern had all the kitchen bits n bobs that I needed. It was very clean. Location is good in terms of plenty of food shops and close to the high street. It can get a busy noisy from the main road but that didn’t bother me to much. Just kept the window shut most of the time. Will definitely be using this place again and definitely recommend. It’s my new go to stay when I come up to Bristol.”

“Wonderful afternoon tea at this lovely pub. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious - fresh and full of flavour. The selection of cakes was excellent and good sizes. A perfect way to spend a relaxed afternoon. The pub itself has a really lovely garden with children’s play area and a good sized car park. Highly recommend booking an afternoon tea.”

“We had such a lovely meal here last night with family. The place is gorgeous, they have a good play area for kids and had a bouncy castle out. The outdoor seating area is beautiful with a gorgeous view and the food was incredible, we opted for curries and they were so flavourful and well presented, great value for money. Lovely friendly service too. We will definitely be returning and recommending to others!”

“Amazing. Usually with these they are the same. This one is great. My parents are frequent customers and on my visit today they were great. Chris is what customer service standards should be measured against. Great with my kids. Accommodating, conversational and great at what he does. By far the best place for a something to eat or drink in thornbury.”

“Recently re-opened pub that has 2 bars that show sport on tv. There are a couple of pool tables in the bigger sports bar and steps up to the skittle alley. Live music was being held the Saturday that I visited. Also great that there is a car park for those visiting from a distance.”

“It was perfect. The party of 11 people were all seated together in a lovely private area. They allowed us to put up decorations for my 70 th birthday celebration. I think we all had different meals, but they came out together and we're all piping hot. I had the belly pork and it was simply delicious, I definitely need the recipe for the gravy! The staff were attentive but not pushy. It was a really lovely occasion made even more special by the staff and the food . Well done to you all.”
