As a young woman, I pretty much always get scammed by garages, and all my female friends/relatives have had very similar experiences, and it makes getting MOTs and taking the car to be fixed/checked over SO stressful. This is the first time a garage hasn't completely made up loads of things wrong with the car just to get money out of me. I took it for an MOT, it was done in about an hour and they charged me exactly what they initially said they would. And as a bonus, the guy working there was so polite/friendly! Genuinely have nothing to fault about this garage- definitely going to be recommending it to everyone I know (:”

“Wanted a headlamp replaced on my car for which I visited a few garages in Bristol who all quoted me 2hrs of labour removing the whole of the front bumper and about £120. Luckily they all also had a long wait to book me in. So I tried my luck with Redland Bodyworks and they were patient enough to have a listen to the issue and have a quick check of the lamp/replacement lamp I already had bought. Turned out it was a 2min job where it was only one plug and couple of levers that required removing to fit the new light. And guess what they did this absolutely free of cost for me. I offered some money out of gratitude but they refused. I highly recommend them simply for this kind gesture and not looting their customers unlike many other garages in town. Excellent Service!”

When the flue of my boiler had an issue, another company quoted an extortionate price for a full flue replacement (including some unnecessary roof work) and basically tried hard to sell me a new boiler, arguing that the repair wasn't worth it. Long story short, Chris had a proper look at the issue and repaired it on the same day for a tiny fraction of that other quote (and also educated me on the actual cost of a replacement, should it ever really be needed). Chris fixed the flue, saved me a lot of time, money and mess in the house. I will be a returning customer for sure!”
