“I have been to this restaurant now on two occasions. I have travelled from Cardiff on both occasions and I can tell you that it is worth every mile of the journey. The food is absolutely delicious, divine and out of this world. The tastes and attention to detail with every dish are very impressive. The warmth, decor and ambience are first class. I made a suggestion to Juliana (multi-talented waitress who also takes great pics) that some bread would go well with the seafood platter and this was implemented on the second visit. The chef, Marcia, grew up in Brazil and her take on seafood dishes and Thai dishes is very unique. She has magic in her hands. I would highly recommend the seafood platter and Tom Yum dishes. Ask for spicy versions and enjoy. I would come here every week if I lived closer. Keep up the good work guys.”

“Me and my fam have been a long time customer of Kimling for probably over 20 years now, prob put hundreds into that place and we have never thought to leave a review! Over the years we’ve ordered a lot of different things off the menu: got big set meals for 10+ people all the way down to cheeky half and half comfort meals bought out of pocket money as I was growing up. Kimling have always been consistently amazing, very quick with orders and we have always had great service. I’ve moved away from Bristol now but I have had cravings for a good Kimling from time to time, tonight though I come back for a home visit and just had a meal that was legit the best Chinese I’ve had. They changed the chips again! The salt and chilli fries are the best they have ever been, seriously tasted like something out of a fancy Chinese street food truck or something. Loads of spice, loads of flavour and extra crispy. The fried rice can’t be beaten, still not had any better anywhere else. Best recommendations for stuff that we’ve had over the years: Kung Po Chicken Chicken balls are huge and crispy The crispy duck is fab Special chow mein with the pork and chicken i think it was, used to be served as a cut up breast ontop with the bbq sauce, the meat had crisp and flavour to it. Anyways, obviously I highly recommend it, and it turns out they deliver now and accept card through ordering a collection on their site which they never used to, so more of a reason for people to get food from this hidden gem!”

We felt completely supported and encouraged to plan the day we wanted to have. And what a day it was!! The venue, the food, the crémant!! It was perfect. The entire team at Parsnip Mash did an incredible job in the 30 degree heat! We finished the day with the most amazing party, dancing until the very last song. We will cherish the day forever. Her service during planning and on the day was fantastic and put my mind at ease that I could focus on other aspects of the event. All diets were catered for and no-one was left hungry. “First time ordering, communication was great, ordered 8 pizzas for collection from Beckington yesterday (Tuesday evenings in village hall car park) and can honestly say they were some of the best pizzas we have ever had. “Everyone was drunk by the time the pizza arrived. The delivery man told me I would never want another pizza again after this, my mind went into panic mode, I asked why? He replied with this is the best pizza in Bristol. And GODDAMN was he right! Not only that it got delivered for 420! Happy days! Best pizza. Hands down would eat again.”

“Food there was so unique delicious, I had never tried anything like it! I will definitely be back and recommend it to friends. Cocktails were also very unique and delicious. We went there quite late for dinner time, which perhaps is what made the service a bit slow. When it went past 9pm the place became more of a bar vibe with louder music and low lights, which was fun for us but if that’s not your vibe I’d recommend going there earlier. Yet to try their breakfast/brunch but for dinner I’d recommend this place which is an excellent addition to Gloucester rd!”

“I was worried at first when I found out Nomu had switched from in-house kitchen, to pop ups. I shouldn't have been. The unagi kitchen food was incredible and very quickly delivered with high quality. We had a mix of veggie and meat and they were all cooked to perfection, and the sauces were flavourful. We ordered two cocktails on arrival which also hit the spot, but weren't able to order another two without going up to the bar. The restaurant was moderately busy so understandable, but would have been nice to have another. Overall, however, a great experience and would recommend to anyone.”
