“This is my local and since they added VindaLounge it's got better. Really nice staff, there's a great beer garden and whilst the range of beers is limited, it's very much like pubs used to be. I also like that the restaurant bit has been turned into an Indian restaurant. The curries are good and having hand pulled beer with them is even better!”

“Stumbled on this place while looking for somewhere central to meet the family coming from different parts of England. Bar staff were lovely and friendly. Good range of beers on tap and bottled available to suit every taste. The rest of the customers were friendly and very chatty. Football was on the tv to keep the lads interested while the girls chatted. Finished the evening off with a couple of games of pool. Would definitely go back here and use it as a meeting place again. Maybe next time we will have some food!!”

“A cozy cafe with a welcoming atmosphere where friendly staff warmly greet you. It's a nice touch that when you order a pot of tea, they bring hot water for refills. However, I felt a bit lonely because the ordered jacket potato didn't come with a salad or similar sides, but the price is reasonable as a result. If you want a more substantial meal, I recommend ordering a main dish and a side salad.”
