“Popped in due to having some time to fill and so glad that I did. The food was absolutely superb. I tried the chicken and pork wraps and they were both stunning, felt like I was back in Greece. The Baclava was also delicious, so sweet and flakey. The Loux lemon drink was also a hit. Overall great food at a great price. Would recommend this to anyone and will definitely be coming back.”

“Been here before and it is a lovely family run cafè. Staff are very helpful and food and coffee are great too. I had a teacake which came with good quality butter and blackcurrant jam. It was like foing back to my childhood for a brief moment!”

“I have been to Lazy Monkey about 4 times now and each time has surpassed my expectations. I have been here alone, with my other half and with our two children and have enjoyed each experience as much as the last. The food is absolutely top quality for flavour, even the naan is mouth watering. The portions are perfect and every mouthful is delicious. The cocktails are superb. Fresh, flavoursome and well priced. The staff are always polite, friendly and professional and make you feel welcome every single time. The venue itself has a lovely, warm vibe and you instantly feel relaxed and the music always pleases. We may not get here as often as we would like but we enjoy every visit and always leave with good memories and wanting to come back.”

The waffles and pancakes are absolutely out of this world—fluffy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth, and clearly made with care. The breakfast is really good too! Every meal that comes out of the kitchen always looks delicious, with generous portions, high quality and great value for money. This is my new go-to spot in Leamington Spa. The quality of food and exceptional service keep me and my family coming back. “I cannot get over how amazing the chai latte cake was! Heavenly! Literally! The original pumpkin spice girly (also lots of cross over with chai spices) was St Hildegard I was literally praising eating this cake which has the spices she called ‘the spices of joy’. I felt that joy today!! The service was great the atmosphere was really good the food was excellent quality and a brilliant price (I also had a toasted ciabatta which was full to the brim!) highly recommend!!!”

“Really lovey local cafe, run by a very friendly couple. Visited here for breakfast three days in a row while staying around the corner on holiday with friends. Everything we had was freshly cooked using quality ingredients. Prices were very reasonable for the area. There aren’t many seats inside but there are some outside, along with a few car park spaces. Highly recommended.”

“What an utter delight to find this cafe when we’ve walked past it dozens of times. Such friendly staff, and a varied brunch/lunch menu with delicious cakes on show. We had soup and smashed avocado on sourdough, but wanted half-and-half so the owner thoughtfully suggested he split them onto two plates for us. And I’ve never seen such a fancy looking toast - it was all delicious. Very reasonably priced for Warwick and a quaint original feel. And lovely area locally to wander around. We will visit again in summer as they have a large covered courtyard.”

“Such a wonderful cafe. Cake is incredible, the tea (fruit tea) was the most flavoursome I’ve ever had. The staff were wonderful, especially as my friend had her young child with her, they helped with the mess even though we offered to clean up. It’s dog friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. The toilet is very clean too. Can’t wait to visit again.”

“It's definitely a great place for food. Went here for my other half's birthday and it is special. Lots of food without ever feeling too much, which was great as it kept coming! Especially loved that it definitely wasn't the usual food that you get elsewhere. Every course felt interesting and tasty. I'm pretty sure I may have sneaked a lick of the plate... My one recommendation is not to go for the full flight of wine mind, not that it's not enjoyable, just that you may not remember the last course! Recommend getting the half flight or a lovely bottle and then you can keep the memories a little more lucid.”

“I visited the Half Moon for a wedding reception. The food was excellent and offered plenty of choices including vegetarian options. The staff were great and coped well with a very busy pub (as well as the usual Saturday night drinkers there were a lot of thirsty weddings guests). I’d certainly like to go back for a few pints on a regular Saturday.”

“Lovely little gem of place just on the path of a canal and run by a small attentive team and seems rather popular . Not vast on the inside but does have a covered outdoor section to the side, really feels cosy surrounded by various interesting canal related items which can be purchased . The menu is straightforward consisting of breakfast / lunch type items which is freshly prepared and the quality is really good along with various takeaway bits near the counter. Just loved it and was really wonderful .”

“Had afternoon tea here earlier in the week. It was delicious and great value for money. Sandwiches were lovely (salmon & cream cheese), Victoria sponge was rich, sweet and homemade. Scones were very nice as well because they were buttery and not dry. Traditional, old-fashioned decor inside made the tearoom look like something from the 1940s. Amazing!”
