“I’ve been very regular customer to the Square Coffee ever since it opened - just before the COVID lockdowns - and even now that I’ve left the village and moved to London I take every opportunity to visit again. They make, in my opinion, the best coffee in the country and it’s always good to be greeted with a cheerful smile by their excellent staff. Their toasties are second to none and it’s nice to have their little secret garden to hide in now and then. Mind you, the garden can change totally on the evenings when they have fantastic street food, with great music and twinkly lights. I’ll be back!”

“Went to Common Ground for the first time this more. Lovely space, warm welcome. Love the mid century furniture. Flat white was perfect. Attend a mum and baby yoga group- thank you for letting us use your space. My daughter loved all the plants. We’ll be back!”

Above and beyond what might be expected for a community centre coffee shop (in my opinion). They have now also implemented a loyalty card scheme which I can't wait to take advantage of ❤️”

“Had afternoon tea here earlier in the week. It was delicious and great value for money. Sandwiches were lovely (salmon & cream cheese), Victoria sponge was rich, sweet and homemade. Scones were very nice as well because they were buttery and not dry. Traditional, old-fashioned decor inside made the tearoom look like something from the 1940s. Amazing!”

“Cute cafe with nice staff. Had a couple of drinks from here such as a vegan blueberry smoothie, iced tea and a coffee. They didn’t have iced tea on the menu but when I asked they made it anyway which was fab. The breakfast looked nice but unfortunately haven’t had time to try. Service is good”

“First time visiting tamarind after seeing a review in the paper about the restaurant winning an award. Took the missus last night and both of us agreed that this was the best lamb bhuna we've ever had. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing and the place was buzzing with a great atmosphere. It was well worth the 20 min drive from coventry. Tamarind will 100% be our go to from now on.”

“Came for the art; stayed for the drink! I'm a big fan of Katie O Art, so I had to go and see her latest work. Absolutely beautiful piece of work, as always. Whilst I was there, I stayed for a drink, as it would be rude not to. The staff were friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the drink was spot on. Looking around, I could see this place was filled with a friendly atmosphere, and I can see why this place is popular. I'll have to come back again, and soon!”

“We were very hungry visitors to the town. Never visited before, and was on the look out for a full English, we were actually heading to find somewhere else but this caught my eye. Never heard of it before but have since learnt that they have many around the country. Welcome and service was exceptional. We had a person with an allergy with us and the staff were very thorough and made us all feel at ease. Allergy menu available on line and easy to see. Food arrived and it didn't disappoint at all. Great portion with a bit of everything on it and it was amazing. Thank you to Liliana for being an enthusiastic, helpful, chatty ray of sunshine and making it all the more special. Kristina the waitress in Cafe Brasilia is always willing to offer her assistance. Also, she has an excellent rapport with the many clients served in Caffe Brasilia including families and other guests. She would be an asset to any employer, and I strongly recommend her for any endeavour. Kristina the waitress as far as I experienced is a creative and loyal employee, communicative, independent at work, honest, tolerant, hardworking, diligent, disciplined, kind and warm person to all guests and clients of Caffe Brasilia. “Got to be one of the best breakfasts in Coventry. Nice to see when so many places are closing that a new business has started up and is making a real go of it. And successfully by the looks of it with the busy stream of happy regulars. Seems to be popular with builders but this place is nothing like a traditional greasy spoon, as the place is clean, bright and modern. Highly recommended.”
