βI had the pleasure of ordering my fathers 80th birthday cake from Steve & Martina .. I can honestly say the cake was delicious and excellent value for me .. thoroughly recommend their service .. Thank You Steve & Martina :)β
βI've been today in new greece restaurant El Greco, food was very delicious, waiter was very friendly. I recommend. Come, see and try it.β
βVery good food! I was shocked that the salad came in a separate box, I liked it a lot. Also, I was pleased with the fries as I don't like them most of the time in other places but these were good. It's very clean inside. The atmosphere is nice too. I recommend this 100%! I will definitely come back.β
βif you want to enjoy a pleasant, authentic Turkish atmosphere and dishes, I recommend this restaurant. Aisha, the owner of the restaurant, greeted us. she is smiling, nice and very kind woman. the restaurant also has a summer garden. I really liked the place - I was in Turkey several times and really Sofra Anatolia took me there again. do not expect luxury, expect coziness and authentic Turkish furniture! the food was delicious. for some dishes Aisha added something of herself and that contributed to the good taste. we left the food choice to Aisha. she brought us a rich plateau with unique snacks and salads. for dessert of course, we ordered kunefe, which was amazing. I did not miss, as always, the Turkish tea. GO,EAT AND ENJOY. talk to Aisha - you will like her.β
βI had a brilliant experience at Pesto at the Axe & Compass. The food was absolutely spot on full of flavour, fresh, and really well presented. The service was just as impressive; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit feel welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy, perfect for enjoying a meal without feeling rushed. Overall, a great place to eat and definitely somewhere Iβll be returning to. Highly recommendβ
βPartycja was a lovely server. I am allergic to dairy and they were amazing with all of that and made me feel really comfortable with my meal. All around amazingβ
βWent to watch Wake up dead man this evening. Screen was very busy but staff were fast and efficient. Staff also greeted us and said goodbye as we left. Food was good. Overall very happy. Will definitely return.β
βThe hotel stays in the best place location in Stratford Upon Avon, you can walk from train station just 10 mins and walk to the main sightseeing in 5 mins~ Super nice brownie caramel cake i have eat before! Do not miss! And all staff very nice! Great hotel!β
βWe highly recommend trying here! We literally can't fault a thing, and will definitely be going back. The food was incredible, the setting and restaurant itself was beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were really friendly and efficient. The portions were plenty and tasted amazing. Food and drinks came out so quick and everything is made fresh to order. There is plenty of on-site parking for anyone driving there. I recommend booking in advance as they tend to get booked up! It's in a really pretty setting, and I can imagine it to be even nicer in spring/summer with all the outdoor seating.β
βExperience was wonderful as soon as we walked in. Josh came straight to us at the door so no waiting around, showed us to the table and made us feel relaxed, he wasnβt too overbearing throughout our time which we really appreciated. A wonderful staff member. Poppy was also tentative to ensuring our table was cleared efficiently and food was delivered promptly with not too great a wait. Lovely! The atmosphere was enhanced by the live jazz music from Suzie Woods. A very enjoyable dining experience.β
βExcellent food and very well priced. Lovely friendly atmosphere and all staff were very polite. Will be going back soon and would highly recommend. Keep it up guys!!β
βWater company very helpful they always say you need assistance very helpful to people in wheelchairs they have a run to get up there are and then always try and help you find what you want in the store go there that is the shop to shop up for Christmasβ
βLovely meal, good selection of pub favourites alongside healthier options. There is outside wrap around seating with views of the canal and river where you can watch the world and boats go by. The only downside to sitting outside were patrons not controlling their dog's and the more inebriated customers bellowing to passers by which is why I've given the lower score for atmosphere.β
βAmazing old traditional pub. Great landlord, nice beer.β
βWe were blown away by the food quality. Everything was developed to perfection. The courses are tiny but you won't leave the restaurant hungry. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere relaxed. Very satisfied with the price quality relationship.β
βAmazing Sunday lunch here, food was really good quality, really flavoursome and fresh and great value. Staff are always lovely and friendly. A great pub all round, its got one of the best beer gardens in Warwick too.β
βWe had a delicious meal. Atmosphere was welcoming. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. A beautiful restaurant in a great location.β
βAll round great experience. Servers were very friendly and didnt rush anything, but also didnt keep me waiting. Starter and pizza were both excellent and good choice of ales on tap. Would definitely visit again!β
βGreat place to grab a drink in Rugby, lovely staff, and helped with a special event - cordoned off area of the pub (even on a busy Saturday) and massively helped with the organisation and logistics. Good rotating list of ciders and cask beers (local and further afield) as well as selection of interesting bottled beers, and many other choices. Also do a lot of themed events.β
βMy wife and I recently enjoyed a one-night stay at Grimscote Manor Hotel whilst attending a wedding at nearby Blyth Hall in Coleshill. Upon entering the property, I immediately recognised the unique buildings constructed within the grounds - as featured on George Clarke's Channel 4 TV programme! The hotel itself isn't quite as 'unique' but it does have a lovely charm and feel to it - owner Steven's personality is definitely present and in a positive way. We enjoyed a Superior Double room with breakfast and it offered superb value for money at Β£150 (especially when the government take the VAT from the price). Our accommodation was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. Given the generous floor area, a larger bed would be welcomed by some guest - but it was just right for ourselves. Even with a fabulous building, convenient location and everything you could need, it's the staff who take care of you who really make a place worth staying at. Georgie on reception was brilliant - professional, helpful and friendly. The team at breakfast did a great job, being welcoming and running a slick, efficient operation. If you are looking for accommodation whilst attending an event at the nearby Belfry golf club, enjoying the second city of Birmingham or just want to treat yourselves to a break, Grimscote Manor Hotel is highly recommended. Thank you very much.β
βI cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it is amazing! The service was amazing so friendly and couldnβt do enough for you, the food was INCREDIBLE! I had the mushroom and chicken pasta. We also went to the cocktail lounge and again it was amazing :)β
βReally tasty food and Very good service.β
βFirst time Iβd been here - wonβt be the last! Fantastic food, had King Prawn Szechuan and Singapore vermicelli - absolutely delicious. Parking outside and great service from the staff. Will definitely be back in 2026.β
βWe went to Michael's for our first wedding anniversary and had a great time! The team were very friendly and polite, seating us outside initially but then offering us a table inside as it was set to get cold. There was a bit of a wait for service but nothing drastic (we were there about 2 hrs toral) and its worth it for the food. Best Mediterranean meal we've ever had! I had a chicken skewer and my wife had the halloumi stack - both were tender and bursting with flavour. Highly recommend!β
βFirst, the atmosphere is brilliant!! Theyβve recently done up the interior again, and it looks better than ever. Music is calm and fitting - nothing offensive. Food-wise, iβm never disappointed. The portions are generous and quality is consistent. Theres also some cooked options for those of you not so keen on trying the raw stuff.. Drinks are lovely too. They do a nice white chocolate matcha, but if thats not your thing then i recommend a taro or original milk tea. Cant go wrong really.. Overall i think its a really nice and cosy dining experience. Feels so inviting and homey - especially on such cold or rainy days - and the customer service is top. Perfect for small families, good friends, cute dates, or even on your own.β
βHad a lovely lunch here today! Delicious food, wheelchair accessible and wasn't too busy either. Perfect - will be coming back again!!β
βGreat flavours, tried the chicken burgers. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu! Very spacious setting and great customer service. Very fairly priced.β
βThis pub is a perfect stop of after a walk at Ryton Pools. It has a beer garden, restaurant and bar. We took our dog and so went to the bar. She was made very welcome and even given a treat. We had the lunch specials, the food portions were good and they were great value for money. We all really enjoyed our meals and service was brilliant too.β
β5 years later, nothing reminds me of a Greek restaurant. The place has been changed a lot from 5 years ago, I don't want to compare the current restaurant, Today and 14 years ago. Everything has changed and not for good, unfortunately.β
βWhat a wonderful little surprise this venue is. The host was very welcoming, not surprising, for such an unusual location, it is in the rooms above the pub. Make your way around the side to the back and enter into a bustling experience. Tables were efficiently moved to accommodate the two of us, and the knowledgeable waiters buzzed about taking their time to prepare orders and explain the menu. Apparently, it is the locals' best kept secret, and there was chatting and laughter, making it a relaxed evening. Because the pub is only downstairs, I would suggest having a quick drink, but you are able to get served at the table from the bar. The food introduced itself long before we sat down through the inviting fragrances, and patrons made their suggestions as we perused the full list of dishes. I'm afraid to say I played it safe and had my usual prawn puree and merga masala. After our freshly cooked poppadoms, the food was served quickly and presented amazingly. From what i saw the other patrons being served, I will definitely explore the range of dishes more next time. The portions were such that if you do decide to go here, I would suggest you skip lunch. Even though it's a small venue, you weren't rushed, so much so that the proprietor introduced himself and was genuinely interested in your experience. One tip make sure you book a table early. The cost was inline local curry restaurants. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it.β
