“Returning as regular locals . Very pleasant atmosphere and ambience, great decor, friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. Tracy back in role in the coffee lounge , looked after us really well, thanks. Nice to see staff from before the refurb. We will recommend to friends and family.”
“Fantastic value for money, staff are so friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. The hotel was so clean and had air conditioning throughout. Room was spacious and had everything you could need. Breakfast was really nice and there was plenty to choose from. The staff did an amazing job keeping it ticking over during busy times. Will definitely return.”
“We had a great stay at Days Inn Warwick North M40. The receptionist, Archana, was extremely friendly and helpful, which made the check-in experience very pleasant. The hotel was very tidy and clean throughout. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.”
“Wow what an experience!!! My wife decided to book us a unique over night stay. What is more unique than an actual castle. Set in the beautiful Warwick castle we staying in the Rose suite which is located at the top of the tower. Upon entering the room you get a real historic feel with a four poster bed and a put you up bed for my daughter. Whilst the room had an historic look there were quirky modern extras like a TV that rises from the bottom of the bed. I must say the concierge Erin, Jordan and Elle were exceptional, nothing was too much and when we asked for extra things it wasn't a problem. After the public leave you have access to the castle (towers, around the ground like peacock gardens and where the Falconery/trebuchet are) it's such a surreal experience! Included is breakfast which is in the state room, again so surreal! A room where such people as royalty have dined, also your name gets added to the guest list of people who have dined there....cool! Also included is afternoon tea which was delightful and again no problem when we had issues with changing things on the menu (fussy daughter). With your room stay you also get a tower suite card which gives you 20% off around the castle and a personal 1 hour tour before the public arrive. George was great and so informative. You also have a dungeon tour included. The grounds itself is well maintained, no rubbish flying around and all staff are very friendly and happy to help. To sum up, Warwick Castle suits should be added to your list of unique holidays. We paid £640 but honestly, it is 100% worth it.........book now!”
“No idea why people moan about the fact that this is not a building supply shop. If they perhaps check online first then they can avoid disappointment. Not every shop can serve needs of all, or not? I have had a great experience with the staff, nice and polite, professional.”
“We stayed in the well designed and well equipped annexe called the "Potting Shed" located at the back of the main house which was nice and quiet. There's ample on-site parking which is free. Park Cottage is only a few minutes walk from Warwick Castle and provides good access to the High Street with its shops and eating places. Our hosts, Janet and Stuart were very accommodating. Stuart provided us with an excellent full English Breakfast and Janet was very knowledgeable about what was happening at the Castle and recommended several eating places in the area. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.”
“Beautiful historic pub with great beer. Pub also has a brilliant Latin American restaurant attached. I’ve sampled some of the food on the menu and it’s amazing. Tapas is spot on. Burgers are huge. I’ve stopped here for work and the rooms are nice and simplistic. Whenever I’m in town for work this is my go to stop. The staff and super friendly and welcoming. Also they have the best Guinness in the area and even do a clover when pouring it. (Unheard of these days) sadly I’ve never been on time to try breakfast but smells amazing and I’ve heard good things. Can only imagine it’s as good as the evening food”
“Stayed for 2 nights. Very helpful & pleasant staff. 2 very nice dinners; the menu was somewhat limited. Excellent full english breakfast. Room very pleasant & clean; bed was comfortable. Only criticism is the absence of a light over the mirror above the dressing table.”
“Lovely hosts - not often you get served breakfast by a world cup rugby star! And proper freshly cooked breakfast, too. Basis rooms, but comfortable and quiet - a good night's sleep. About half a mile from the centre with free parking.”
“Stayed here whilst in the area at BP pulse live and gotta say the staff were fab… phoned the morning of too ask over early check in as it was a long drive and they were marvellous at accommodating this… The was one minor issue but nothing to make a fuss of and again staff always happy to help The room was great but the views and quietness for me was really what finished off the place highly recommend”
“We visit this location at least twice a year. To visit family. Even though it is close to the M69 you very rarely hear much noise from it. It is a very relaxing location close to Coventry, Nuneaton and within easy access to Leicester. It has a Brewers Fayre located next door so food and drink is close at hand. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly with noting being too much of a problem. All rooms are located on the ground floor with easy access to all.”
“I stayed in room number 5, it was a perfect size, has everything I needed and was very comfy. There was lots of pubs and shops nearby and loads of places to eat. The owner was lovelly and very helpful, not that I needed much help but she was easy to contact and my stay for 3 nights was very nice. Highly recommended”
“I never stopped here but looks like a beautiful place very peaceful and tranquil some beautiful views”
“Grateful to have discovered trustworthy Petsitters. Hoppy Holidays responsive communication made it possible to have stress free travels leaving me confident my indoor pig was in safe hands over the Christmas period. I needed a lot of reassurance to take this last minute decision. I changed collection dates multiple times. Ken & Tracey were flexible, patient & understanding throughout which is extra appreciated at such a busy time of year and made me relaxed enough to extend the room-at-the-inn - well beyond the initial weekend booking. SheRa was happy and well cared for when I collected her. I’ll use them again and recommend anyone with a rabbit to checkout the fab outdoor hutch setup.”
“We stayed on the campsite in early January, in our campervan. This is one of the rare sites that are open all year and have a toilet block with shower. The site is easy to find, secure with key pad controlled high gates and surrounded by gardens and fields. Pitches are large, hard standing and level. Even after torrential rain, these were fine (although grass understandably boggy). Electric hook up and water taps between pitches. Toilet block is in the end of a barn building. All tiled, clean, windows a little shabby but ok. Unisex, 2 toilet cubicles and 2 large cubicles with wash basins and shaver points. One electric shower in cubicle with shower curtain too - the usual set up at campsites. The block is unheated but there is a blow heater on the wall that you can activate. Soap, air-hand dryer, toilet paper all provided. There is only a charge for the electrically heater hot water -50p shower, 20p basin hot water. We thought it would be too cold to shower in comfort in January but it was fine. Plenty of time to shower, nice and hot. Be aware though, no suitable washing up facility (outside sink cold only). The road nearby is busy so expect road noise (and sheep bleating, bird song too). Didn't seem to be a campervan discharge point, so expect to use the old bowl and bucket if you want to empty grey water. There is a chemical loo emptying place and the usual waste area. Reason for 5 stars...excellent value!(And a nice owner.)”
“Lovely hotel, comfy beds and a great breakfeast. And all for a good price.”
“It's a nice country hotel with a restaurant and bar area. I spent 3 days here which I enjoyed. My room was nice and clean apart from the odd squeaky floorboard. I did go there on a pretty hot week and the room was hot as I had no AC in my room. The breakfast and dinner food were nice and the staff on-site were friendly and helpful too. There's a car park at the rear of the hotel and you need to register your car at reception on a tablet/ipad.”
“Stayed here overnight on a long journey. Everything fine. Very happy with the accomodation, hence a very satisfied 5 stars. However... Tripped over a couple of gotchas, though not the fault of the owner (lovely chap). 1, The room must be paid for in cash on arrival – my fault, I missed the message from Booking.com. 2, No breakfast! This is Google's fault: the description in G-Maps clearly (& incorrectly) categorises this guest house as a B&B (it isn't), *AND* it says that breakfast is available. It isn't. The owner hasn't served breakfast in over 2 years. The details in Booking.com are correct and I should've spotted this discrepancy. C'mon Google, get this entry updated. Why is it taking you over 2 years?”
“Very good and well-priced accommodation for an extended work stay in the area. Nice and helpful people. Great location in the centre of Dunchurch near to pubs and restaurants. i look forward to my next visit.”
“The personnel who work there are without a doubt extremely supportive and will go out of their way to help you, irrespective of your scepticism, they will knuckle down and help you find a resolution to whatever might be troubling you. They have my utmost respect and are here ever after on my Christmas Card list.”
