βVisiting Stratford upon Avon for the day and found this lovely Japanese restaurant close to the city centre. It serves a range of sushi and sashimi rolls as well as hot dishes like ramen, udon and donburi. Ordered rainbow maki rolls and ebi tempura maki to start with - both are really tasty with the rainbow rolls topped with various sashimi and the ebi tempura rolls filled with large prawns. The kitsune udon I ordered is really great too with chewy udon and tofu - perfect on a rainy day! The genmai cha was served in a large teapot with unlimited refill which is another bonus point too. Definitely recommended to stop by for a meal for some welcoming service and great tasty Japanese food!β
βVery good pizza. Everyone was happy with their choice. I thought the plain Marg was the best. Not bad for 10Β£ either price wise. Very nice staff and about 10-15 min wait. 5/5β
βCracking CafΓ©. Love atmosphere, staff are fantastic and the food is spot on! Would highly recommend.β
βVery good food! I was shocked that the salad came in a separate box, I liked it a lot. Also, I was pleased with the fries as I don't like them most of the time in other places but these were good. It's very clean inside. The atmosphere is nice too. I recommend this 100%! I will definitely come back.β
βI had a brilliant experience at Pesto at the Axe & Compass. The food was absolutely spot on full of flavour, fresh, and really well presented. The service was just as impressive; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit feel welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy, perfect for enjoying a meal without feeling rushed. Overall, a great place to eat and definitely somewhere Iβll be returning to. Highly recommendβ
βPartycja was a lovely server. I am allergic to dairy and they were amazing with all of that and made me feel really comfortable with my meal. All around amazingβ
βthe service and food here is commendable. love the atmosphere and the vibe!! ordered the teriyaki chicken. tasted just like home.β
βWe've been here twice in the last month and loved it! The food is great, with several options even if you don't eat sushi. My favourite is the Katsu curry, will keep returning for that. Only suggestion would be to have a more diverse dessert menu. @acoupleondates (Instagram)β
βAll round great experience. Servers were very friendly and didnt rush anything, but also didnt keep me waiting. Starter and pizza were both excellent and good choice of ales on tap. Would definitely visit again!β
βFirst, the atmosphere is brilliant!! Theyβve recently done up the interior again, and it looks better than ever. Music is calm and fitting - nothing offensive. Food-wise, iβm never disappointed. The portions are generous and quality is consistent. Theres also some cooked options for those of you not so keen on trying the raw stuff.. Drinks are lovely too. They do a nice white chocolate matcha, but if thats not your thing then i recommend a taro or original milk tea. Cant go wrong really.. Overall i think its a really nice and cosy dining experience. Feels so inviting and homey - especially on such cold or rainy days - and the customer service is top. Perfect for small families, good friends, cute dates, or even on your own.β
βIf you like big portions of scrumptious food then youβll like it here. Great gluten free options and a good menu. Burgers are very large! Great service and lovely garden in the summer.β
βAbsolutely amazing food! The ramen and sushi are a must-tryβfresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The quality of ingredients really stands out, and the service is warm and welcoming. If youβre a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine, this place is a hidden gem in Stratford-upon-Avon. Highly recommend!β
βWe Met up with my Mum and partner here today (20th November) for my birthday and we had an excellent experience, everyone enjoyed their food as a party of 4 and the waiter was an absolute asset to the place. Service was excellent, the food was served in good time and the place was lovely and clean with a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend and thank you for the free glass of Prosecco for my Birthday, that was a lovely touch.β
βA cozy pizza place with quirky art and many vegetarian options I had a vegetarian meal at this pizza place and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food. The restaurant has a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, with quirky and funny art pieces on the walls that made me smile. Firstly, I ordered the chargrilled vegetable pizza, which had peppers, onions, mushrooms, and aubergine on a crispy crust. The pizza was served on a wooden chopping board, which gave it a rustic feel. The onions were nicely caramelized and the cheese was pleasantly strong. Secondly, I ordered the jalapeΓ±o poppers, which were cheese-filled peppers coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried. The jalapeΓ±o poppers were crunchy and cheesy, but they were not spicy at all, which I was surprised about. I expected them to have some kick to them. Thirdly, I ordered a mock Pina colada as a drink, which was a change from my usual latte. The mock Pina colada was refreshing and creamy, with a fruity taste of pineapple and coconut. It was definitely a worthy substitution. The service was friendly and fast, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this pizza place and I would recommend it to anyone who loves pizza and quirky art. Itβs a great place to have a fun and relaxing meal with friends or family.β
βLovely restaurant serving the 9 of us delightfully and efficiently - great food, atmosphere and reasonable. Parking nearby. What was most refreshing was we overpaid when we split the bill and they came back to us to return the excess - thank you!β
βVisited on Friday night, been once before and loved it so much returned, travelling from Leicester. Food was fabulous. Prices reasonable given the quality of the food. Be hard pushed to find better. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful with recommendations. The Lobster Ravioli was amazing.β
βAlways a pleasure to come and eat here. Lovely food, friendly staff and always made to feel welcome.β
βNot the best food, but not the worst. The local is small and cozy, also atmosphere is really good. I had a lasagne, but I cannot say was very tasty, I heard pizza is really good, which I will try next time. Overall service is good, also refreshments.β
βI liked this for the excellent pizzas we got and how cheap they were! Only a fiver for a Margherita with a choice of veggie toppings. The staff were really friendly and whilst it's very much for students that doesn't rule out families or if you want a quick, simple bite to eat. The beers looked pretty good too, with Brew Dog on offer in cans. I think upstairs is the best location but the basement where we were was fine.β
βBirthday celebration dinner. Amazing pub. Loved the ambiance, busy with a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious with great menu choice. I had sea bass, cooked to perfection with lots of veg and hasselback potatoes. Everyone enjoyed their choices. Prawn cocktail was really good. Portion sizes just right. Only one of us disappointed, no steak and ale pie. Service was excellent. All food reasonably priced. We'll definitely visit again. Would strongly recommend going here.β
βYummy! The food has βwok heyβ which is rarely found in UK! Highly recommend if you are nearby!β
βFor the greater area of Coventry probably the only better restaurant although a bit high on price but reasonable enough. Very friendly staffβ
βWent to Selminas for lunch and it was absolutely delicious as per usual! They have changed their menu a bit since the last time I ate there, but I have no complaints. The portion sizes are more than enough, and the cocktails are pleasing to the eye and the tummy! Service was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. We waited a bit longer than others there, but our food was fresh and delicious so well worth the wait. I literally cannot find a fault anywhere xβ
βA must when in Coventry! We loved everything about this place - from the homemade ginger beer to the mango salsa to the fall off the bone beef! Bonus - all the meats are halal! Would definitely come here again! Would highly recommend the Big Mac combo! Best Caribbean food I have ever tried! A shout out to Carol for being so attentive - she made the experience even more special by checking in on us and letting us take some of the mango salsa home xβ
βGreat food, massive portions and fab service! Even a beautiful gluten free brownie for desert!β
βDelighted to go the Old Mill for lunch with friends. The welcome was as always warm and friendly. Our waitress was Lois who attended to us so well being friendly and very helpful. She paid do much attention to us and always had a smile on her face. The meal was as usual delicious and well presented. I love the Old Mill for its great menu and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Lois for your help and hospitalityβ
βLovely Thai food. Was here for Fatherβs Day. Really like the unrushed atmosphere and we get the chance to look at the closest art work from our seating.β
βStopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday. The menu is easy to read and gives an explanation of each dish. I ordered the LA Galbi with boiled rice, which had a great bulgogi flavour. The meat was leaner than what I find in most restaurants, and because of this, it was not too greasy, which was quite pleasant. The onions underneath the Galbi were a little bit undercooked to my liking but still a compliment to the dish, being quite mild in flavour. The other dish I ordered was the Agedashi Tofu. The sauce was more sour and vinegar based than what I was expecting, but I have never eaten this dish before, so it could just be how it is. The tofu itself was nicely fried and light in texture. The rice and green tea were standard to what you'd expect from a restaurant with 4.5 star reviews. The service was polite and pleasant without being overbearing. I will be visiting again to try other dishes on the menu.β
βWe had the most delicious meal for two at Amore Mio on Saturday 4th May. The food was deliciously tasty, well presented and served by a waiter who knew his food, was not over bearing but who was polite. Amore Mio is a little gem, hidden away with a great choice of starters, mains and desserts. We will definitely be returning here and would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant.β
βJimmyβs is a very short walk away from the house for us, so itβs a welcome treat for lunch. Decent selection of sandwiches/burgers and includes specials. Recommend the Yorkshire pudding wrap, itβs messy to eat but super tasty!β
