“I came in with my partner for some procedures, spent a fair few hours at the hospital and every member of staff was truly wonderful and helpful. We had Ella as our ward nurse who was so kind, caring and attentive- she checked on my partner regularly and made him feel safe during his time here. She had excellent bedside manner and was regularly making sure he was well and not in too much pain. Mel and Sara were the nurses who took him into the procedure room who were also kind, caring and attentive. The main dr he had was Dr Kaba, who is truly a caring, friendly and professional Dr who really listens to his patients. He was very charming, talented and put all our worries at ease. Thank you so much for everything!! All of the staff are truly lovely and we would 100% come back to this hospital again.”
“One of the nicest parks the UK has to offer. A varied collection of trees and flowers with incredibly picturesque scenery. Sitting in this park on a warm summers day really makes you appreciate this country.”
“Naked Sunday First time at the Archers venue, what an awesome place to go and gig out. Defo will be going again.”
“What a wonderful little surprise this venue is. The host was very welcoming, not surprising, for such an unusual location, it is in the rooms above the pub. Make your way around the side to the back and enter into a bustling experience. Tables were efficiently moved to accommodate the two of us, and the knowledgeable waiters buzzed about taking their time to prepare orders and explain the menu. Apparently, it is the locals' best kept secret, and there was chatting and laughter, making it a relaxed evening. Because the pub is only downstairs, I would suggest having a quick drink, but you are able to get served at the table from the bar. The food introduced itself long before we sat down through the inviting fragrances, and patrons made their suggestions as we perused the full list of dishes. I'm afraid to say I played it safe and had my usual prawn puree and merga masala. After our freshly cooked poppadoms, the food was served quickly and presented amazingly. From what i saw the other patrons being served, I will definitely explore the range of dishes more next time. The portions were such that if you do decide to go here, I would suggest you skip lunch. Even though it's a small venue, you weren't rushed, so much so that the proprietor introduced himself and was genuinely interested in your experience. One tip make sure you book a table early. The cost was inline local curry restaurants. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it.”
“If you like big portions of scrumptious food then you’ll like it here. Great gluten free options and a good menu. Burgers are very large! Great service and lovely garden in the summer.”
“Traditional Black Country Brewery house across the road from the public school. Extremely sociable bar staff will navigate you through the 3 house and 6 guest cask ales if you haven’t done your homework beforehand on the Real Ale Finder App. Additional choice of bottled beers to drink in while you play skittles or takeaway”
“Great breakfast at a reasonable price. I have given atmosphere 3 stars as I was the only person in at the time, several arrived as I was leaving. I have been several times and will always gingered when in Leamington”
“Great free place to visit to have a nice walk and sit and feed the ducks. You can park on the road near the entrance for free. I grabbed some swan and duck food from Purdy's pet shop in Coventry before my visit. The ducks devoured it.”
“Lovely little park, child and dog friendly”
“Some what hidden gem, very relaxing place to walk about.”
“Very tidy store, lots of stock and helpful staff”
“I have had several flower arrangements from Blooms N Blossoms, and they have always been stunning. And the staff are always amazing, helpful and cheerful. I would always recommend them.”
“Lovely day at the Leamington food festival, plus great entertainment in the bandstand but I'm biased as my family were playing! Great choice of food stands and lovely ambiance.”
“This park combines modern style and wild nature. It is very well maintained. The morning and evening singing of birds is fascinating. Migratory birds find rest here. I recommend visiting this park and enjoying the rest in nature.”
“Visited Turquoise Kitchen and had a fantastic experience. The staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the restaurant has a cozy, authentic atmosphere that really adds to the meal. The food was exceptional — a true taste of Turkish cuisine. I went for the mixed grill, which was outstanding in every way: flavour, quality, and portion size. Excellent value for money and beautifully presented (just as pictured). Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Turkish food with great service and atmosphere.”
“Sylvia greeted us with total professionalism and looked after us from start to finish with polite, friendly and extremely helpful information. Nothing was to much trouble for Sylvia. The whole atmosphere of the pub was lovely. The food was amazing and we will definately be going back for a visit soon.”
“Visited on a Sunday eve about 5.30 and were politely told kitchen closed at 6. We were given the Sunday menu but asked if it were possible to have something off the weekday menu; they were so helpful. Nothing was a problem and all our food was delightful; outstanding really. Up there with the best pub food we’ve had. Way better than soulless pub chain food that is everywhere these days.”
“A lovely old Coventry public house. Many famous people have drank here, and it is due to reopen 28th February 2025 with new management. I can remember coming here as a child with my grandad, and it's not changed much in 40 years.”
“Recently hired out this Beautiful old pub for our wedding reception. The food was amazing with a ni e choice of beers, wines and non alcoholic beer on draught. We cant thank Dav and his team enough who went above and beyond, blessed to have it as one of our local pubs.”
“Popped in for a late Sunday lunch, 6.30 they only had pork left so I doubled up on the meat. It was ace washed down with a great pint of Hookey.”
“Draycote Water is a fantastic place for a family walk. The path around the reservoir is well maintained and offers beautiful views all the way round – perfect for a relaxing day outdoors with children. Parking is very easy here, with plenty of spaces available, so there’s no stress about finding a spot even on busier days. After a walk around the lake, it’s great to treat the kids to ice cream on site – a perfect way to finish the visit. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy nature, spend time with the family and get some fresh air without having to travel far. Highly recommended for a weekend outing.”
“Absolutely incredible food and we loved the live band! The lamb shank and prawn curry was absolutely 10/10! Food I was faultless, will return in a heartbeat.”
“Fantastic little pub/restaurant in Long Itch village, close to the duck pond. Enjoyed several family get-togethers there and a couple of quick visits with my daughter. Nice food, good beer and top class service. Sometimes lucky enough to have outside entertainment as well.”
“First time visiting tamarind after seeing a review in the paper about the restaurant winning an award. Took the missus last night and both of us agreed that this was the best lamb bhuna we've ever had. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing and the place was buzzing with a great atmosphere. It was well worth the 20 min drive from coventry. Tamarind will 100% be our go to from now on.”
“This is an excellent choice if you want good authentic Indian food. We went for a family get together and everyone left so satisfied. We tried so many dishes and all were incredible. Even the meat eaters were ordering more Gobi 68 and Gobi Manchurian the cauliflower was so tasty! The staff were really attentive too - a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.”
“Popped in for a meet up, had a nice Black Forest coffee and a cake. Staff polite and welcoming”
“Compact outdoor space with a sense of wildness and tranquility despite the traffic sounds from Kenpas highway nearby.”
“Hama gave me the best haircut I've had for years. Very attentive to detail and very skilled. I came away feeling pampered. This is now my new No1 barber. 11/10”
“We'd been looking forward to a holiday of a lifetime and we experienced so much more than we ever thought possible. Initially we provided Paul and Terry with the most basic of outlines - can we spend time in the wine regions and also camp in Kruger Park? From those bare bones Paul and Terry produced us with an itinerary that we thought was incredible. When we experienced the trip it was even better than we could have imagined. Having benefitted from their immense experience and knowledge of South Africa we now have so many fabulous memories of or trip. I would recommend anyone thinking of taking a holiday in South Africa to talk to Paul and Terry at South African Secrets, you won't regret it.”
“Due to be staying at Badgers Ends for Xmas but due to COVID lockdown were unable to travel. Andy was so kind and professional and within 3 days we had received a full refund. We had previously stayed at one of the Honeypot Cottages and we loved it and intend to re-book as soon as we are able to do so. We have no hesitation in recommending these cottages for a lovely stay in comfortable surroundings with such such helpful people.”
