    “The Boot is half walk to meet my mom, and we’ll 100% be back. Fabulous location just off the A38, and plenty of parking. The food was sublime and a wine list to generously accompany the dishes. A running theme with all my reviews is that I like a nice wine list and the Boot offers exactly that. The food was so fresh and full of flavour, beautifully presented. A real Gastro Pub that welcomes dogs which is important for us as a family of dog owners, who enjoy the finer things. Thank you to the wonderful Heidi who look after us, you made mom’s birthday experience thorough enjoyable. We’ll be back!”

    “I don;t often do reviews but this was such a good find. Needed a central point with parking for the girls meet up - always hard to find somewhere central to us all. The cocktails and waffles were amazing! There was a huge choice and all cooked fresh to order (they smelt out of this world). All accompanied with a couple of cocktails. I'm probably going to try Sunday lunch here next time - it's one of those places that I think will become a favourite for loads of occasions!”

    “Go here once a week. I drive past my local chip shop to come here as mine is rubbish. Everything is cooked well, as well as when the owners parents ran it. Fish is tasty, as are chips. If they've sold out of anything they'll cook it fresh. I can recommend the Halloumi burger. The owners are friendly and fast. All their staff are fast and accurate too.”
