“Following a particularly unappetising meal at a work conference, I opted to call an old buddy of mine to find some proper food. This place is grimy, old fashioned with no thrills. But the food was exquisite. The Tawa really hit the spot. The lamb karahi was something I could not stop eating, and whilst this isn't the kind of place you go to for a 5 star service, it's the kind of place you visit to eat good homely food. The amount of food we received for a £27.99 Tawa for Two was impressive. Thanks iKas!”

We were set to go off to fetch cash, but they allowed us to do a direct bank transfer instead which worked well. We're not often in the Midlands but if we are, this is where we'll come.”

Lots of negative reviews with delivery orders. Generally, fish & chips don’t travel well, get your arse off the sofa and head down, great service and a lovely meal !”

“Yeah reviews these days are just becoming what the people with high expectations and demands reflect over time. As an emerging vegan who goes to the restaurant itself to order I never get food poisoning nor cold meals like is mentioned in these comments. “Have used them for a good while now, throughout corona and before. Food is always good, hot and as ordered. Delivery can sometimes take a while (I order via apps which give timings and they generally go to the later end of what's given) but only once did I have to chase it, obviously a busy day. It happens. Friendly delivery staff, same for in the shop itself on the few occasions I've done a pickup instead. 5* Hygiene rating, and normal practices seen for food storage and prep as you'd find in other fast food Cantonese shops. I'm a former food hygiene auditor myself and haven't seen anything that would worry me, which isn't always the case around here, I can say!”

“I had a kebab from flavas some time ago and it was bad, however today it was one of the best kebabs I had for a while. It was the only place that was opened in Burton and I gave it a chance... I am well impressed how quality and fresh it was. Well done!”

“We just had a pizza and family kebad delivered with a few sides. It was on time and a generous portion. The pizza was delicious and on the whole the kebab was delicious, although some of the meat chunks were a little fatty and chewy. We will go again.”
