“I must say, my personal experience was altogether rather splendid. I was there to sort out an international passport, and I dare say I was rather fortunate with the weather - waiting outside the entrance proved perfectly agreeable, unlike the unfortunate experiences some others have mentioned. Regarding any perceived unresponsiveness or bureaucratic tendencies - I do feel compelled to point out, dear friends, that this isn't really down to the staff themselves, is it? The processes are governed at ministerial level through all diplomatic missions, and one can hardly hold the local team accountable for that sort of thing. I would most respectfully suggest showing a bit of human understanding for what must be quite an exhausting workload. A touch of politeness (without going overboard into grovelling territory, naturally), staying on topic, and perhaps avoiding any heated political discussions - well, that's just good form, isn't it? Your standard British etiquette should see you through splendidly. Do remember to confirm your appointment (twice or even thrice through the Diiya portal). One wouldn't want to arrive only to discover one's slot has vanished into the digital ether - the staff have no control over this, I'm afraid. Oh, and bear in mind: registering with the consulate in Scotland whilst residing in England is simply not on (and vice versa). All in all, armed with a bit of patience and good manners, you'll find the process perfectly manageable. The staff are doing their very best under challenging circumstances, and a kind word goes a long way.”

“This has to be the most loviest hotel I’ve stayed at. It felt like home and I have a heavy heart leaving here tomorrow, I don’t want to go. The staff are absolutely amazing the food 10 out of 10 the chips are to die for! The bed… best sleep ever altho I was here for work it felt like I was on holiday and nothing was to much for the staff very kind helpful and chatty. Like I say I do not want to go but all good things have to come to an end. But bank on it I will be back FACT … left a mark on my heart ❤️”

“I really enjoy the Street Fusion adult dance classes, run by Leah. She always comes up with fun routines to catchy music. Leah’s teaching style is very inclusive, as there is no pressure to get the routine exactly right. We just have fun and I always feel great after the class. The dance studio is nice too - spacious and light. All around good energy and vibes!”

“I cannot recommend star harmonies and their hard working, dedicated tutors enough for the experiences and confidence they have provided my granddaughter with. In less than a year of attending their classes my granddaughter went from being too shy to communicate with others or even join in with other children at class, school or social settings to taking part in their annual show in a theatre with a full audience where she even said some solo lines which blew us away. It was amazing to see how much she thrived from the classes and see her making friendships with other children and bonds with the tutors which she would have struggled to make before. I can’t thank the tutors enough for the time and effort they put in with her as these classes have made an all round difference to her confidence and development in every setting including school.”

“Mark and the team are an amazing dog walking / socialisation group. My dog knows exactly when he is getting picked up and is very excited to go, they take amazing care of my doggy and he always comes back shattered as he has had a wonderful time. Even in bad weather Mark and the team are there on time and even ensure Milo is clean on his return. No ask is too much, they are reliable, friendly, supportive and very very protective of all the dogs. You can even see yourself through their facebook pages how much fun your dog has on every walk. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark and the team 100%, your pet is another member of your family and Mark and the team know this and treat your pets as they would a family member of their own.
