βGood toddlers group Tuesday morningβ
βMy daughter goes to Simon Says Dance there. Also attended friends birthday parties too . Great local community centre.β
βWe enjoyed a wonderful evening dinner. The hotel staff arranged some special adjustments to the menu because of my wifeβs dietary needs which were carried out by the chef without any fuss. The atmosphere was beautiful and the waiter was attentive. Most of all, however, was the food, elegantly presented and very tasty.β
βI go to this school and it is the best place ever we get so many off opportunities like the school could get you into being a doctor, a scientist, a dancer , an engineer and so much more. before I moved to St Georgeβs when me and my family were researching it we watched a video of all these great things we get to do and my dad cried because of it. We also work across the school with older and younger students and go on so many trips and go to camp. I have had the best four years of my life here and I know there will be more amazing things here at St Georgeβs which I am so exited for and honestly St Georgeβs has changed my life. If you have a little girl who loves adventuring and having fun then this is the school for her. Our school moto is yes she can.-Cara Wilson age 11 2024β
βGreat food, we got the truffle salami, cheese souffle, lamb chops, chicken breast, berry tart, and sticky toffee pudding.β
βIt was a cold wet night. Not many folk were about and we enjoyed what we set out for, a quiet candle lit dinner for 2. Our waitress was very kind and helpful and while not the normal busy atmosphere the vibe I caught was of staff who worked hard and try to set a good standard. The food was excellent.β
βBest Chinese Iβve had in a long time. Canβt recommend the Singapore rice noodles enough! Service was great too and lovely inside.β
βA hidden gem. Driven past many, many times, but we've never been in - until now. Great food. It is really nicely decorated inside. Friendly staff and good service. They clearly do take out too, so we will be ordering from there in the future, too.β
βFood is fantastic. Lounge is quite. But itβs the little things which make a huge difference: Fresh tablet and Tunnockβs tea cakes! Even Monin syrup for your coffee. Love it!!β

βI organised an afternoon tea in this restaurant on 27 June for a group of 21 people from a church group. From beginning to end the experience exceeded my expectations. The booking process was so easy, and the managers I spoke to on the phone (Marco and Rebecca) couldnβt have been more helpful. We were given a separate room, which was great for a group event, and when we arrived we were delighted to find that it was beautifully laid out with flowers on the table and on the windowsill and there was a lovely outlook to a garden area outside. Rebecca was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. The staff helping her were all equally helpful and pleasant. The afternoon tea itself exceeded our expectations. Delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes, and lovely thoughtful touches like strawberries and blueberries dotted around the cakes. The food was exceptional value for money - more than we could eat, and the staff kindly gave us little brown paper carrier bags to take home leftovers. Having such a lovely setting and such pleasant, helpful staff (not to mention the delicious food!) really added to the atmosphere and we had a wonderful afternoon. All in all, this was an extra special experience - top marks to the staff!β
