“Working up in the area, Called in today to try this place out. What a find this place is, friendly welcoming staff and a really decent atmosphere. I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese and can honestly say it was better than I have had in some restaurants back home, it was absolutely perfect, even came with a little pot of parmesan to go on top. Will definitely be back to sample more food in the future. Gutted I didn't get a picture of the food (although I believe my pal I was with may have managed to get on of my dish once I had started) will try remember next time”

“I love this chippy. Great fish supper. Always get the wee extras that make it a luxurious supper. Lemon and tartar. Breadcrumb is superb. Pizza is delicious too. Fresh n tasty.”

“Excellent customer service and great food. At first my order was mistakenly delivered to a wrong address. But, when I phoned them, they were very helpful and cooperative and sent me the order again to the correct address. The food was great, one of the best Chinese takeaways I've had recently in Glasgow both in terms of quantity and quality, and the food tasted good too. The lady on the phone at the store was super nice and helpful. Great customer service. Would definitely order from here again, and would recommend a friend to try this place.”

“More of a take out than sit in perhaps, but all the usual features and the same great drinks. Plenary of space for a wheelchair, but today I managed with my sticks and the seating is either very low or perch on a bar stool. Staff seemed helpful and polite and makes it good place to sit and stare out at the busy world.”

“My wife and I LOVE the restaurant Pickled Ginger on Argyle Street Glasgow. We were advised that they had relocated a limited menu to the Cranside Kitchen as part of their response to COVID 19. FOOD We booked and turned up not expecting to have the flexibility to choose from 3 other restaurants (Rioja, Halloumi and can't remember the other!) We stuck to our original choice and didn't regret it. ALL the food (yes, ALL OF IT) was DELICIOUS! The loaded Kimchi fries were spicy but not overly so. The katsu chicken was generous in its portion and the pumpkin Tonkatsu was also delicious. Best Salmon Sashimi we've ever had also. The best Chocolate Mochi and Baklava we've ever had!!! AMBIANCE We were sat by the window and upon arrival could have day outside if we wanted to. The view of the Clyde side was lovely. PARKING Final thing, the restaurant give you free all day parking upon arrival so that you don't need to worry about paying for a car park space. They take your vehicle registration. NEGATIVE (ONLY 1) My only negative is that a large soft drink is £3.50 or £2.50 for a regular soft drink. This is where most of our £10 per head eat out government discount was spent as we had 2 large soda water and limes each.”

“Don't know what the negative reviews are about. Been working up here for a couple weeks and finally got to try this place out got small fish and chips and the meal for 1 special with a pizza and chips. Place was spotless with a really easy to understand menu. Food was cooked fresh. Staff were friendly. Not too pricey The food was delicious we really enjoyed it and will be visiting again before we leave at the weekend”

“always get food from here every since I was wee, staff are always kind and I personally enjoy the food and so does my family, however can be pricey but it’s understandable considering the competition in the area isn’t rather cheap ether, portion sizes are decent but as every place it has shrunk but the food is worth every penny! We ordered takeout, the estimated delivery time was 70-90mins which we were ok with but were very pleasantly surprised to see it on its way 30mins before that.
