“Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit here. The food was very tasty and portion size very generous to say the least. We will visit again. My wife had a large glass of white wine which appeared to be a medium size and it was £9.50, this was the only negative thing.”

“Have ordered from this takeaway for the last 7 years and wouldn't risk using anywhere else. The food is consistently good and equal to any good Chinese sit in restuarant. Never had a bad order from them yet. We always order and found delivery time good and if they are busy they are honest and inform you of the expected waiting time . Once we were passing so ordered to pick up and was pleased to see that you could see them preparing the food in the kitchen and all appeared spotlessly clean. I dont usually leave reviews but thought after so many nice weekend meals watching a movie Sunny Garden deserved a few minutes of my time.”

“Although most of the Chinese restaurants on Hull are similar, most of them are northern China taste, this one is more like southeastern Chinese taste, that means less MSG and other chemicals. Ordered Yung Chow Fried Rice and beef with spring onions. It took 10 minutes only to get the food. Meat is seasoned very well, and the fried rice is good with differential ingredients. Employees are nice and friendly, complimentary fortune cookies are so lovely.”

“One of the best Chinese in hull! If you haven’t tried it yet and love a good Chinese then you need to try some food from here, would definitely recommend it. I am half Chinese myself and man this is some good stuff. Not really a authentic Chinese as most Chinese here have all been westernized but the noodles are banging, starters are banging especially the ribs and satay chicken skewers as this owner isn’t a stingy one and use more peanuts like how it is suppose to actually taste. Main meals taste good also not to salty the sauces taste nice. Portion wise is great also haven’t been disappointed so far with the taste or quality of food. I order takeaway or eat out almost everyday and this Chinese has definitely made it to my list of choices. Never had stomach problems after eating from here compared to some other Chinese takeaways in hull. Only downside is sometimes the waiting time is awful which am guessing they can’t really help because they are so busy and the closing days and times sometimes isn’t so great. Other than that the food is literally worth the wait! Guy on the phone is also always friendly and actually listens to what you are wanting to amend to the order or add etc. Friendly staff/owner. Rating 10/10.”

“Food is amazing, the king prawns are to die for! Beautiful white flesh with no grit. No shrimps here. Also main meal dishes include chips or rice, making it very good value. Delivery has improved, was very quick. The lady Is not rude, but speaks very quickly. Go into the shop, she will give you a smile to great you. Very professional and welcoming. Also the chips....... fresh in the shop, wow!”

“I didn’t expect that in addition to Birmingham and Manchester, there is a place called HULL, which has a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant where you can eat all kinds of Hong Kong tea restaurant food. I was very touched because the owner is from Hong Kong with all family members to run this restaurant. The decoration inside the store is very nice. It's really nice to take a car and visit it when you have time. Finally, where can you eat clay pot rice and egg waffles………..etc.”

“A fabulous place to go if your looking for authentic Chinese hot pot and grill. Good menu range of dishes to choose from. Far different to the usual Chinese take away menu. Really tasty food and good portion sizes. You get plenty for your money. We will definitely be returning and making this one of the top places to eat out. We went during the week so it was quiet but welcoming just the same. Maybe some low playing tranquil or asia music in the background would make the atmosphere even better if possible.”

“After visiting Trinity Market for the live music on Thursday nights and sampling the fabulous food on offer here, we went back for a second visit specifically to sample more of their delicious dishes-we weren’t disappointed! I had the King Prawn Udon Noodles with lovely thick sauce, big juicy prawns, red peppers and green beans. It was just fabulously unctuous! My wife had the Tofu Pad Thai which was equally delicious. The staff are really friendly and service is super quick. My pals all looked on in envy at my lunch, so they’ll just have to join the queue behind me next time!!”

“By far the best Chinese takeaway in Hull! We used to order back when they had the takeaway down Wold Road. My mum wouldn't even contemplate ordering from anywhere else when she found out it had changed hands, then a friend told us they were opening a new shop my mum was thrilled! Their rich, umami profile, keeps you coming back for more. The décor is basic, however that is of no particular importance when one takes into regard the modest prices and wide variety of Chinese dishes.”

“Today weather was Georges with blue skies. After my shopping done fancied fish and chips. After reading good reviews decided to try and ordered lightly buttered fish snd chips which made my day .
