“12/2/23 We came here for my wife to collect her new prescription spectacles. We decided to get some food from The Kitchen but sadly there was little choice. We ended up with pizza, chips and soup complete with cold diet drinks. We managed to park in a disabled space near the front doors and of course I displayed my blue badge. It wasn't too busy, most customers were collecting odd items instead of a weekly shop. The weather was pleasant for a February day, no rain and a gentle breeze.”

“We've visited on a few occasions and every time it seems to improve. Today's meal was one of the best meals we've ever had. We've ate in top restaurants around the world but we're so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Small little restaurant with open kitchen. Great friendly staff, clean and amazing food and service. “While we were in the area we booked for a birthday, after a recommendation and can only say we are so grateful. From the initial telephone query, through our arrival, our food, to leaving everything about the evening was fantastic. Great food in a great atmosphere and while some may say that the menu is limited, it is really a case of doing a smaller number of dishes very well. I only wish we lived closer as we would most definitely make it a regular thing.”

“These stores layout and smell always remind me of visiting mainland Europe. They have a fairly standard layout and carry a range of competitively priced own label and some branded goods. There bakery is very nice. They are not a one stop shop for all your items unless you taylor your purchases to the store availablity. Very large carpark accessed easily. Public transport via stop a short walk away on Hessle Road near the flyover. I think the stagecoach number 1 is the best option. The store accepts cash and card. It is one of the newer larger stores with in-store bakery and the usual central isle weekly offers. I like the occasional one off lines they have presumably from elsewhere in Europe”
