“What an amazing night the staff were amazing and despite some difficult customers kept smiling the whole night, the place was electric with a live band and it was fabulous. “We were a bit sceptical visiting here after reading a few reviews regarding poor service and in some cases the bad attitude of the management but we took a bit of a gamble and we were happily rewarded. We got served as soon as we went to the bar and our food order was served at our outside table in less than 10 minutes. Food was hot, well presented and very nice. A definite againer when we are next in the area. I will add that there was about 30 other guests there at our time of visiting so the staff didn't just have us to focus on.”

“Visited for the gourmet burger night and wasn't disappointed, burger was delicious, good sized portions and reasonably priced. The cakes/waffles and cheesecakes are also incredibly delicious if not a little bit naughty! Staff are also very friendly and accommodating, will be visiting again!”

“If you like crispy, not soggy chips - this is definetely place for you. Tried many takeaways in Hull and i wished this was first. Crispiest chips ive ever had. Kebab was spot on, real chunks of meat. Could work on garlic sauce to make it more authentic. Not gonna discuss pizza as this is my fiances realm.”

“The only place we go to for Pizza local, always delicious hot fresh food, never lets us down and the staff and lovely!! Home made burgers are the best too! No sloppy dog food burgers here! 100% beef! Stroganoff is belting too! I would like to suggest a loyalty scheme though as you don’t do any deals or offers. But you get for what you pay for and we will always return.”

“Tried this place another time after having a great first experience about a month ago and I’m so glad that this place seems to be consistently good! Food arrived early and scolding hot! Special fried rice was yummy with huge prawns! Prawn toast crunchy on the outside and soft and savoury inside. Curry super flavourful. Can’t recommend enough”

“Been using Ocean for the last 25 years and honestly love the place, the food is always spot on, the lady who serves has been there as long as I can remember & she’s fabulous. Their special curry, or chicken/mushroom curry is delicious, Singapore chow mein can’t be beaten, ribs yum, sweet/sour chicken Hong Kong style is soooo good! I could go on.
