“I use My Cafe a lot and its a great place to eat , great food and lovely staff . A good old fashioned cafe. I was in there this morning and I dropped my wallet. When I realised I didn't have it is retraced my steps and phoned them. They had found it under the table is was at and put to one side for. Such a relief, lovely honest people . Thank you x”

“12/2/23 We came here for my wife to collect her new prescription spectacles. We decided to get some food from The Kitchen but sadly there was little choice. We ended up with pizza, chips and soup complete with cold diet drinks. We managed to park in a disabled space near the front doors and of course I displayed my blue badge. It wasn't too busy, most customers were collecting odd items instead of a weekly shop. The weather was pleasant for a February day, no rain and a gentle breeze.”

“While we were in the area we booked for a birthday, after a recommendation and can only say we are so grateful. From the initial telephone query, through our arrival, our food, to leaving everything about the evening was fantastic. Great food in a great atmosphere and while some may say that the menu is limited, it is really a case of doing a smaller number of dishes very well. I only wish we lived closer as we would most definitely make it a regular thing.”

We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked to visit this area and was not disappointed when we found Harry's Bar to finish our lovely night off.”

“As always, good varied assortment of hand crafted drinks available, pleasant surroundings with good service. Always a treat to sit and enjoy good coffee whilst meeting friends. New drinks added on a regular basis giving that extra choice. What let's down these outlets is the breakdown of the dishwashers, it's not the same drinking out of takeaway cups, spoils the enjoyment altogether, perhaps they should install two dishwashers or have a better repair service.”

“What an amazing night the staff were amazing and despite some difficult customers kept smiling the whole night, the place was electric with a live band and it was fabulous. “We were a bit sceptical visiting here after reading a few reviews regarding poor service and in some cases the bad attitude of the management but we took a bit of a gamble and we were happily rewarded. We got served as soon as we went to the bar and our food order was served at our outside table in less than 10 minutes. Food was hot, well presented and very nice. A definite againer when we are next in the area. I will add that there was about 30 other guests there at our time of visiting so the staff didn't just have us to focus on.”
