“Beautiful peaceful cottage in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds.”
“Third time here loved every stay. Great location local amenities and a perfect break.”
“What a fabulous restaurant, friendly welcome. The mezze platter starter was really delicious and the bread served with it was so good. Mains were all tasty and massive portions, our dogs were very pleased with the leftovers we took home. Exceptional value for money too. Will be going back again soon”
“We have just had a very last minute 4 night break at this fabulous, peaceful, getaway from it all location. Fishing on your door step, for those that do. Bird watching from your veranda, being bamboozled by a species or two ! Easy parking, for that heavy fishing gear ! A nice ramp up the side of the lodge into your kitchen dinning area, clean, tidy and spacious, awesome ! Front room is ideal. Big windows and opening double doors for a nice cross draught. Nice comfy double bed,two singles next door. Nice big bathroom with a good size shower. The entire site is tidy and litter free. The fishing was impacted by the very hot weather, yet I still managed to catch several carp to 7lb+ and a net full of fin perfect small stuff, including some lovely buttery gold rudd. The local CooP is really expensive, so take as much as you can with you. The Bricklayers Arms,,wow,,,good food, good beer and really well priced, wgats more, food is available all day ! Skegness is 40mins away for those who want that seaside experience ! Thank you, thank you to Lakeview Lodges and especially Rachel for making it possible.”
“Lovely little rooms, small but well appointed and 5mins walk to the beach. The hosts are really friendly, there’s parking, it’s quiet, and the breakfast is really generous - so much to choose from; especially loved the fresh eggs laid by the hens that lived there, and tons of other choices from crumpets to granola.”
“Brilliant quite place. The holiday homes are very clean and modern. Great prices and very close to the beach and amusements.”
“Excellent retreat - very well equipped - highly recommend”
“Lovely and spacious. Have already booked for next year, would definitely recommend.”
“Excellent. Visited with a wheelchair user and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed”
“My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and I had a wonderful time in the cottage, which I consider to be the most attractive in this holiday complex. The second floor of the large cottage is stone and traditional on the outside, yet completely modern, cozy, warm, and homey on the inside. We loved absolutely everything: the silence, the peace, the sounds of nature, and even the smells, so unusual in the city. The rooms have everything you need to feel at ease. We got exactly what we expected: my husband got a sauna and a pool, I got a water garden with apple trees and carp, and the dog got a view from the window. The young couple got the sea just half an hour away. We're very happy and would definitely return if we could.”
“Absolutely beautiful holiday homes ( yes, homes). We stayed in The Loft, 9 fantastic bedrooms, a massive living/kitchen area, more than ample kitchen wares, wonderful outdoor area. Shared swimming pool/snooker table/pool table, darts, and an arcade game, all fabulously presented, plus a great welcome pack.”
“Back again after 5 years away, fishing holiday.”
“We stayed at The Old Post Office in Sandsend and enjoyed 7 delightful days. The property is compact but well designed and with a touch of luxury that we admired. A couple of small teething problems were efficiently sorted by the management team. It was such a pleasure to sit on the sea facing balcony enjoying a coffee on a morning. Overall very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend this place!”
“Stayed here twice. Lovely accommodation and location”
“Perfect accommodation Nice village & pub a stagger away...”
“Sometimes reality does not match expectations. But not for Camoor cottage which is every bit as good (if not better) than advertised. Situated literally a stone’s throw from the heart of Hornsea, the cottage somehow manages to be simultaneously close to the action and yet secluded and quiet. The cottage itself has everything you need to make it a home from home – comfortable beds, loads of storage, enormous kitchen – with the stunning extra of a hot tub thrown in to lift it above similarly priced alternatives.”
“Just returned from a great weekend at the cottage. It is a beautiful cottage and was very well equipped for our party of 4. The hot tub is also an added bonus! The host, Tom, is also lovely and gave plenty recommendations of where to go in the area and where to eat. We also received a welcome pack from Tom… and a birthday cake, which was very kind! Thank you for a great weekend!”

“5 stars for Jodie! When we were looking for a place to rent, Jodie was always super helpful and friendly. As first time renters we were sometimes confused about the process or made mistakes during the application, but Jodie was always kind and took the time to explain the situation. Thank you for making the process smooth and easy”
