“Location of the hostel is good , walking distance to the city centre, 14 min walk to the Triniti shopping centre. Hostel is in quiet neighbourhood, 5 min away from supermarkets and Fast food , restaurants. What I like the most in this hostel is very polite receptionists , and peace and quiet . Even is hostel full , still people respect other people, no noise at all .Even we have a room next to the common area, there is no noise. Kitchen was clean, toilets as well. Breakfast is free, toast bread, lots of jam, honey, chocolate cream, cereals, tea coffee and milk. And they restock all the time.I recommended this hostel and I will back again.”

“We had a fabulous time in 1 Turks Head Court for our daughter's wedding. It was a real home from home. There was room for a dinner party and a tea party, and everyone loved the house. All our needs were met in moments from the many independent shops within 2 minutes walk. The Minster bells were ringing as we got ready for the ceremony which was lovely. “We visited the tui Pontefract store for some ideas for a wedding package abroad for me and my fiancé and we wasn’t disappointed. We was looking at the brochures and had no clue what would be the best package was for us. I want to thank one of the girls in the store Kim for the idea she gave us and advice about what deals would be best for us. Highly recommended the store and the staff and most of all Kim amazing work thank you. We will be definitely returning and using Kim again x”

“Stayed at County House Escape - Newly Refurbished apt in York FREE PARKING for a week 21st - 29th September. Perfect location easy 5 minute walk into the city. The apartment had everything you need and was so quiet, considering the close proximity to city centre. The secure parking was an added bonus.”

“My sister and I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Hedley House Hotel. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful with directions around York and to the Barbican (where we were attending a concert). The hotel was very comfortable, clean and tidy. Our twin room was lovely. And it was only a short walk to the train station which we discovered on our way back (a shortcut shown to us by one of Hedley House team!). We would highly recommend this hotel.”

“Really enjoyed our stay at Heath House, we were made to feel very welcome and so were our 2 dogs. Lovely room, fabulous house and beautiful gardens and area for dogs to run free! Couldn't fault the breakfast or Jo's hospitality. All in all I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast experience to anyone.”

The apartment was spotless and had lots of amenities which made our stay very comfortable. We chose the full English breakfast, it was well presented, warm and tasty. The location is great and parking is just outside the guest house. You can’t knock it and the price is very reasonable for York.”

“Attended for a biker rally. Rally was great. The venue met the meets of the rally. Mostly was a field which was great for camping. Access it's good and there are local shops.”
