“Having been highly recommended to Mannion Coaches we were a little sceptical at what had been said about how good they were, Now, after an eight day, seven night tour of Southern Ireland, I can completely concur to everything that was said. The company is a family affair with Kevin the Driver and Janine the Admimistrator, Hostess, Tour Guide and anything else needed to make things run smoothly. Kevin is a most proficient driver whilst Janine a great hostess caring for all the passengers wishes. Thank you Kevin and Janine for a really memorable journey.”

“Lovely place to stay! Really clean and comfortable with all the things you would need for a stay- really well equipped kitchen. Lovely basket of treats on arrival welcomed you to the cottage. The hot tub was fab and a a great way to unwind after a walk around Howard Castle! The location is great- we are non drivers so it was just a short Uber ride from York station. There was also a village centre around 10mins walk away where you’ll find two nice pubs and a mini Tesco. Would definitely recommend!”

“Such a charming place! Set in absolute piece and tranquility I loved every minute of my stay at Willoughby’s Loft at Darcys cottages. Michelle was so attentive and helped me with my train tickets so my trip was hassle free. I loved having my tea and watch the chickens running up and down the field! I would love to return x”

“Visited The Surf Shack on a Friday morning with my 3yr old son and how lovely it was. From the first we stepped through the door you could feel a warm welcome and the staff there were ever so friendly and attentive. The cleanliness was 5*, the food was great and had so much choice of homemade savoury and sweet. The fudge and rocky road were to die for. My son really enjoyed the soft play upstairs, great selection of toys, learning activities and he also enjoyed his lunch box. Can't wait to go again.”

“We’ve had the pleasure of staying at Harewood Holidays several times now, and each visit feels like coming home. The cottages are set in an incredibly peaceful location within the expansive grounds of Harewood House, surrounded by nature and overseen by on-site security—offering both serenity and a sense of safety. The many walking paths throughout the estate are perfect for long, relaxing strolls and a chance to truly unwind. Our two Labradors were always warmly welcomed and enjoyed their time just as much as we did. A heartfelt thank you goes to Felicity, whose communication has always been exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional. She truly makes the experience even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next stay at Harewood Holidays—a place that beautifully combines comfort, tranquillity, and genuine hospitality.”

“Stayed in villa: Koumneni (1663) July 2024 Most liked: Everything about the process from start to finish. Website straightforward and functional, staff extremely personable and friendly when booking and confirming/paying deposit. Updates received as holiday dates approached. Directions excellent, considering the secluded location of what was a fantastic Villa. Having stayed at a number of holiday Villas over years, this was probably the best in all areas. Highly recommended. Owner, Andry, made a welcome contact on day following arrival. Extremely helpful, as there was an ongoing wi-fi problem due to the network service in the area, requiring two engineer inspection visits. Problems dealt with/resolved to our satisfaction. Not the owners fault. The Villa was clean, extremely well stocked and fridge had essentials upon arrival. Small things = great first impression.10 out of 10 from us! “If I had a better vocabulary, I could adequately describe Thorncliffe. Let me start by saying that Jo and Carmel are immensely accommodating and their place is not only clean and beautiful, but conveniently located to everything in town. Our room was spacious and stocked with all kinds of goodies. Breakfast was light and complimented with the best croissants I've ever eaten. The view from our room was outstanding. The bathroom we had was my dream bathroom complete with a giant stand alone tub and I felt like a queen the two nights we were there. My husband and I were hiking the Pennine Way and needed a couple days to recuperate from blisters and sore feet. Jo had a tub of cream she recommended and gave us hers! I can't say enough about Thorncliffe. If you're looking for a place to stay a night or two, Thorncliffe is the best option in town. Be careful though, you may want to stay forever!”

“They are very helpful I had problem with my Baby’s visa and found out about them .they applied for my Baby’s id card and it came in 5 days it was great.”

“We have booked a PCR tests here - it was one of the cheapest place, it was easy and quick. We were instructed on how to do the sample and after completing it in few minutes in the afternoon, 5 am next morning the results were in the system. Normal this is a travel agency but having a possibility to do a PCR tests for travel is a great idea for the pandemic!”

“When I am in and around Harrogate I always use Harrogate Holidays they are always helpful when booking a property so friendly on the phone. The cottages I have been in have always been excellent always very clean and like home from home. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.”

“We had a lovely few days in York staying at Reubens Court. The apartment was a great space for a few nights and had everything we needed. ♥️ The kitchen, sitting space was adequate for 2people and included lots of crockery, cutlery etc, even a washer dryer. I definitely recommend this location for anyone needing more than 1 or 2 nights.”

“This is our second visit to County House Retreat an amazing building with fantastic history, ease of on site secure parking. We have rented our holiday apartment from Peter & Mary fantastic hosts and a awsome welcome fair enjoyed the scones and jam, great apartment everything you need for a perfect stay, spotlessly clean light and airy added bonus a lovely wee garden for those hot summer days......”

“Fantastic alternative type of site . The facilities are very rustic so bare that in mind . However the bar is fabulous, live music on a Friday led by the family , Nigel and Shane . Saturday open mic night so plenty of entertainment. Site is laid back , firepits Inc logs and kindling are only 15 quid and saves you having to bring it . Decent burning logs too ! Nigel is aways full of fun and Shane the new boy is an incredibly friendly and helpful person.”

“Wonderful, friendly staff and a lovely, quirky environment. We stayed in one of their family rooms which was perfect for our needs. You could be forgiven for thinking things might be a bit basic, but actually we were better catered for than many hotels I've stayed at, with plenty of toiletries provided and surprisingly comfy beds - far more comfortable than certain 'budget' chain hotels. Definitely recommend.”

“We had a lovely week with my elderly mother and farther and our dog, great location for us, out side the town centre walks and fields all around. Short drive to york and shops. The cottage 3 was clean tidy and good size for us, all on one level as mom struggles to walk far now. I am looking to rebook for my wifes birthday in november”
