“Love this shop. Got everything you need and plenty of parking. Staff are really helpful too”
“Went here to celebrate 25 yrs since our first date and we were looked after by all the staff who couldn't have done any more for us if they tried. When we arrived there was a card and bottle of prosecco on our table from the staff which was a lovely gesture. Food was spot on on arrival you got tea and biscuits then a 3 course meal to have as and when you wanted it then afternoon tea was served. All other staff that took us and looked after us in the parade and winners enclosures were so friendly and made you feel special. If you want to have a great day at the races with wonderful staff I highly recommend Pontefract Racecourse.”
“Even though we didn't get loads of happenings we did receive visits. Couple of young ladies took few selfies in the mirror and on looking back at it we could see what looked like monk standing over her shoulder. Had few issues with the camera here as well. Never had this issue before”
“Come along to our warm safe space and have a cuppa, chat, find out what's going on in the centre or suggest what you would like to see going on in the centre x”
“An absolutely outstanding setting!! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, When it comes to communication and engagement with children the staff are amazing. I am an early years educator myself, so finding a setting that I was happy with took some time! But Red Roof is excellent!! From the second I met Carly and had our show around I knew that was the place for my little girl! She loves it there, and she is thriving! It’s a setting that is passionate and genuinely care! Both Jill and Carly are wonderful! I couldn’t recommend Red Roof enough, I will be truly saddened when my little one has to leave for full time school.”
“On Saturday I went to Argos for a couple of things one of which I had to take it back today and I was served by Claire the lovely manager in there and she helped me on Saturday and Friday. I feel safe in there as I know there’s people who look out for me”
“Highly Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shake, Rattle, and Roll, a soft play centre in Pontefract for a birthday party, and I must say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with friendly smiles from the owners and staff, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor of Shake, Rattle, and Roll is truly amazing. The attention to detail is evident throughout the play area, with vibrant colours, and carefully designed play structures. It creates a visually stimulating environment that instantly captivates children and sparks their imagination. I was particularly impressed with how well-maintained and clean everything was, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for children to play. One aspect that stood out to me was the great price of admission. Shake, Rattle, and Roll offers excellent value for money, making it an affordable option for families looking for a fun day out, or children’s parties. With the reasonable pricing, parents can relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about breaking the bank. The food at Shake, Rattle, and Roll was also a pleasant surprise. The menu offered a variety of options, from kid-friendly meals to healthier choices for parents. The quality of the food was impressive, and the portions were generous. I appreciated the effort the staff put into catering to different dietary preferences and providing tasty and satisfying meals for everyone. What truly sets Shake, Rattle, and Roll apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by the owners and staff. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all the children. The staff members were actively engaged, interacting with the kids, and encouraging them to explore and have fun. It was evident that they genuinely cared about the well-being of the children, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for everyone. In conclusion, Shake, Rattle, and Roll in Pontefract is a soft play centre that truly stands out. With its friendly owners and staff, amazing décor, great pricing, and delicious food, it provides a memorable experience for families. I highly recommend this soft play centre to anyone looking for a fun-filled day out with their little ones. Whether it's for a special occasion or just a casual visit, Shake, Rattle, and Roll guarantees an enjoyable and entertaining time for all. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“We had a very pleasant afternoon having lunch and browsing the farm shops! It’s very well organised and has plenty of parking. It’s dog friendly everywhere including the farm shop which was brilliant! There’s plenty of space for children to let off steam! They’ve currently have PYO sunflowers which you need to book tickets online. Lunch was great and you can order from a QR code at your table!”
“A fantastic place. Had my little boys 3rd birthday party here and they took all the stress away. The play area is great lovely and clean as well. Food was fantastic for the kids. Staff were lovely especially Noah who was our party coordinator. Would definitely have a party here again.”
“Love this store helpful friendly staff , lots of clothing ,toys books, electrical, items and furniture well worth a visit if you like a rummage and Preloved items plus it's for charity so what's not to like .”
“Greeted with a smile by friendly staff who were only too happy to take us to our reserved table. They asked if we had any special requirements, allergies etc. They were so attentive throughout, we were allowed to eat our meals in peace without being disturbed. The only downside to the evening was the fact my husband has sensory issues which we were catered for by way of a quiet area but some adults allowed their children to run around screaming which made us leave early. The staff and manager were in no way to blame for this as it is a family friendly establishment but it would have been nice if the parents of the children showed a little respect for others dining this evening. The meal was superb, my steak cooked to perfection, my husband said the mini trio of pies was amazing too compliments to the chef. Mrs Kay illingworth 6pm booking 17/02/24”
