“From day one, Jeremy and his team were on hand to help us realise our dream of creating a forever kitchen that would reflect our personalities and become the focal point of our cottage. As the kitchen was being created in a new extension, we were fortunate in having a blank canvas to work with . This could have been a little daunting but the design brief meeting at Jeremy’s showroom gave us an opportunity to get our own ideas down on paper and to ask lots of questions to help us visualise the style and finish we were looking and to discuss the appliances we wanted to integrate into the design. We were absolutely delighted with Jeremy’s design proposal and the additional support we received with the finer details, such as the trip to the suppliers of our chosen work surface to choose the exact slabs of material that would be shaped to create our central island. When it came to installing the kitchen, Jeremy’s project management team were spot on. We were not living locally at the time so it was incredibly important to us that we had a team who were proactive in keeping us up to date on progress and timings - our expectations were exceeded throughout. The person who arrived, Will, was an absolute delight. He was friendly and upbeat, it turned out that we couldn't find the switch, but he managed to find it and he also gave us a quick tutorial on our boiler, so we could make the most out of our money. “Our experience with Howdens was excellent from start to finish, we attended the expo in Howden at the manufacturing site where we picked out our kitchen with the help of the reps who gave excellent advice, we then got in touch with the depot who sent the designer out to measure our room, within 2 weeks we had received the design and prices for 3 different kitchen models. We chose the chilcomb mist blue which you'll see in the pictures, along with natural oak vinyl effect herringbone flooring, all the internals were premium range and they are well worth the extra cost. The whole kitchen transformation took only 2 weeks including knocking out a wall, re-plastering the kitchen and installing new plumbing, eclectic's and a new ceiling, this was thanks to CERAMIC PROPERTY & GAS CARE who's excellent team worked on top of each other to get the job done while we were on holiday. There were a couple of snags all sorted immediately, for example the kitchen fitter noticed the sink was chipped, he called me immediately, we then called the depot, one was in stock at a depot closer to us than Thorne which the fitter drove out to collect, within an hour from noticing the chip he had the sink ready to fit, that sort of service you will never see from the high street kitchen retailers. I will be going to Howdens for all my joinery needs in the future and CERAMIC PROPERTY AND GAS CARE for any work that needs doing to my home.”
