“Ordered decking from here to replace old rotting decking. They didn’t have the decking size I originally wanted in stock but they were in touch quickly to tell me about another size they had which turned out to be the perfect fit. Great service, the delivery driver rang 10 minutes before arrival on both occasions as I had 2 delivery’s (I had to order more than planned after my first order). Would highly recommend the quality is also fantastic.”

“Called in at the weekend needing some help for some bathroom work and the staff were excellent. The two women on the counter were very pleasant and did their best to help and then I had a chat with Lee and he is a guru and knew exactly what I was after! Fitted the items the same afternoon with few issues. Would recommend without hesitation. UPDATE - 26/08. Having decided to try my arm at fitting a bath I called in Screwfix on Saturday morning for some tap-copper pipe connectors (yes, my plumbing knowledge hasn't improved!) Fin did an excellent job in picking out what I needed, even after I bamboozled him with the size of pipe connector I was after (I measured circumference as I haven't sawn them yet!). Anyway, top nodge work from Fin, a credit to Screwfix. Thank you.”

“I've photographed a few weddings at the wonderful Huddersfield Town Hall and they have always been great. The staff and registrars are so helpful and friendly. “The food here is amazing and must be tried to be believed. The main dishes especially the chicken curry were cooked to perfection. You could tell the ingredients were fresh. The starters and mains were generously portioned also. With quite a choice for this type of cuisine I must say I was most pleasantly surprised that Socco has introduced an even higher standard of tasty food. Also, the service was exemplary and the staff are always on hand to assist. I cannot wait to dine there again.”

“It was my First time here after i hear ld a lot about this place, i decided to finally pay them a visit not as a business owner but as a customer We ordered two turkeys breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, it gives you a real Turkish experience, i had it before in Turkey and it looks exactly same. We offer a Kurdish mix breakfast which is a bit different so i liked it and the good thing that the staff informed us that we can refill the tea as much as we want and also they offered us a free bread with it after we finished our bread, The honey butter,flower jam was the best i have ever had. The lady staff was nice and welcoming. I highly recommended and wishing you all the best from Mood Cafe team”

“The first time here has been recommended. So we gave it a go. Looked at the place before setting off as it would be dark before we arrived. I'm glad we did as the rear parking can be easily missed. The restaurant layout was great. We loved the decoration and seating. We ordered two starters and two mains, plus rice, chips, and a garlic nan.”

“A fantastic local place in Mirfield - the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The drinks are great and cakes/savouries are delicious. They have regular food pop ups on weekends which are perfect to try different and new cuisines! Would definitely recommend for during the day - I haven’t visited on an evening yet so can’t comment on what it’s like. We are regulars here and my little boy is obsessed with seeing the staff who are so lovely to him.”

“Fabulous hair by Sophie. She worked miracles with my hair. Turning my home dyed brown hair to a gorgeous blonde within a few visits. Hair is now in great condition too. Shes also such a lovey person. So friendly and great to talk to, plus super talented and highly qualified in lloreal. Mark is fabulous too, as are all the staff, greeting me with an offer of a latte and big smiles. I always leave there feeling wonderful, renewed and relaxed. Highly recommended 5*”

“It may be an Italian in a small village but the food , service and atmosphere is one that belongs in a Michelin Star restaurant. Ameer works front of house and when needs is also a dab hand in the kitchen . His staff whilst local and young are all friendly and it’s great to see a local restaurant employing local staff . The Italian Chef Pepe is amazing and between my fiancé and I we have had the whole menu from salads to steaks , pasta to sorbet and the food is always delicious and exceptional and exceptional value for money . I cannot wait to fetch 40 something of my friends for my Hen Do and introduce them all to the best hidden Italian gem in the county . You were the best find 4 years ago and will continue to be our place to go for special occasions or just like tonight Bob in for tea after a busy weekend.”

“I've been getting my weekly fix from Lion's Kitchen for over 10 years, to the point where I'm known as "Friday Stewart" The food is always great, and a consistent reminder of family meal times in Jamaica and my mum's cooking. It's a takeaway, so don't expect plush restaurant settings, however, whenever you drop in, the ladies are are always friendly, and as quick as possible... SIdenote: On the rare occasion ×hen it does take take little longer than usual, just remembered, caribbean food is never meant to be served in a rush, it ruins the taste. Special shout out to Daniela who ensures everything is kept running smoothly. If you're looking for the absolute best , and most importantly, authentic Caribbean food, cooked by Jamaicans (there is a massive difference when it's prepared otherwise) then I highly recommend Lion's Kitchen. There's a reason why he's been in business for over 30 years which you'll taste when you sample his food.”

“A real pleasure to be back at 3 Acres after covid and the fire! The rooms have greatly improved, they now are beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom too was beautiful ...but terribly cold. Lunch and dinner were excellent, service as well.”

“Great food and friendly service. Was a little chilly when I went so it would have been good if the heating was up a little bit. The Beef Stroganoff was excellent and the fish and chips are decent. The chips are cut thick with a crispy exterior. A good quality pub… just get the heating up when it’s cold out. ;)”
