“For my thoughts read the review, not the stars. Pros: my partner felt really comfortable training at this gym, helpful staff, clean, good selection of equipment from techno gym, able to get a really solid workout, spacious, wasn’t overly busy when we trained at around 10 am Sunday morning, spa facilities. The cons which may be a positive to others, not a selection of different brands ie Atlantis/prime etc, for me the gym is a good mix for anyone that trains but doesn’t excel for bodybuilding, strongman but at the same time can get a really good workout.”

“As someone who trains in multiple MMA/BJJ gyms across the country, I highly recommend this gym. If you are looking to get into martial arts this is a fantastic team to be a part of with fantastic beginners classes in grappling and striking. The wealth of knowledge here is incredible with top coaches and competitors including veterans of UFC, Cage Warriors and polaris. The gym also runs a brilliant youth team for ages 4+ which is incredibly popular.”

“Absolutely would recommend Spirit martial arts to anyone looking for a place to take their kids. My son was so shy to begin with my they got him involved and now he loves going, he has thrived there. The instructors are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. Brilliant place!”

“Very pleasant staff that I spoke to. The whole place appears clean and tidy. The pool was nice and warm and the changing areas appear to have underfloor heating, which is great when you get out of the pool. The showers were also a good temperature, and lasted a reasonable amount of time. Plenty staff cleaning the locker area, regularly. I believe the car park was free for 3 hours. As of February 25, they're taking cash, which is a big bonus, as I'd much rather pay cash. Most leisure centres around here have gone cashless. I'll define going back here, even though it's not the closest leisure centre to me. I assume this is run by Leeds City Council - Great job! Miles better than any of the Kirklees facilities.”
