“The store is amazing, and the staff are so helpful. I am part of a group trying to fundraise, and they donated a raffle prize to help us. We are so grateful, and the store is just amazing, and the workers are so kind and helpful. We would like to give a shoutout to Dave the manager, as he helped us so much, multiple times, so thank you. I do regularly use the store too, and it isn't huge but that is too be expected as it is a village convenience store. Overall, amazing customer service.”

“Perfect stop over. Considering that it’s so near the motorway I was surprised how quiet it was in the room. Room was spacious. Well equipped. Very clean and comfortable The staff exceptionally helpful, polite and cheerful”

“Deli Delight is my favourite place for dessert, although I usually get it delivered because I have a baby and am often stuck at home early in the evening. Mint chocolate is my kryptonite and they do a mint chocolate sundae which is divine! Two different types of mint ice cream! Much better than the other dessert shops in Wakey, especially the big famous one which takes absolutely ages to be delivered and often the orders are incorrect or just not very nice. I much prefer this family run establishment over any chains.”

“ust had an amazing meal at Corarima in Wakefield. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish had its own unique flavour, and you could tell everything was super fresh and healthy too. Honestly couldn’t fault it. All vegan. The guy who runs it is really friendly and took the time to explain what everything was, which was really helpful. Service was spot on. Oh and the decor is lovely as well — really nicely put together, it’s got a calm, welcoming vibe. Can’t wait to go back. Honestly don’t know why I haven’t been sooner!”

We ordered loads and it was all delicious - would definitely recommend the homemade style Tofu, special vegan fried rice, salt and pepper chips, all the starters and also the chow mein. Also made a great breakfast the day after. Super friendly service - called me to tell me when we should set off to collect our food! Would love a bit more spice in the dishes marked spicy :) Definitely would recommend.”

“Brought my mum here for the afternoon tea for Mother’s Day and neither of us could rate it any higher. The effort that went into making this was second to none and it was absolutely gorgeous! It was both our first time coming and it certainly won’t be the last! I also bought a few baked goods and they were delicious. Hannah the owner is so lovely and it was worth every penny!! We’re so happy to have found this lovely little gem of a café!”

Genuinely incredible food, great value and a lovely generous man serving it. It’s a shame we aren’t local as I would love this to be our local spot.”

“Delicious home cooked Polish food! The pork stew was really flavourful, with tender meat. The potato dumplings was the right texture and pairs really well with the sauce and stew. The sour rye soup was absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!”
