The place is a "man's place", I would never take my partner or family there as it is not suitable. But with the lads it's perfect. Overall was really happy with the experience and would go again.”

“We were greeted by lovely, friendly staff on arrival and instantly loved the décor. But of course, we came for the pies we’d heard so much about – and they did not disappoint! I had the garlic chicken and mushroom pie with mash and peas, and it was absolutely delicious. My partner went for the minted lamb pie with dumplings, mash, and peas, and he was just as impressed. The food is home-cooked, full of flavour, and very reasonably priced. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to again!”

“Stunning! My friend and I drove here for a day out (interior decor nerds) from Liverpool and it didn’t disappoint. The one thing I will say is that we had expected there to be a bit more design but it’s really more or less exclusively furnishings. Would have LOVED some kitchen/bathroom/tile shops (but that may very well be our bad for not Googling beforehand, hence it hasn’t lowered the score). Overall the entire place is stunning, the staff were very helpful, informed and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into decoration/design or need inspiration for a reno!!”

“Booked the car in at short notice for a remap. Chris was incredibly helpful and honest in assisting me pick the right 'upgrades' for the car. Quick to respond to questions, friendly and polite greeting. Couple of hours later car returned with absolutely no drama at all. Highly recommended, clean and tidy garage as well as reception area. Inspires confidence for me seeing that a garage keeps things tidy and organised - usually means the work will be done properly and you won't find bits missing from your car months/years later when doing other work. Great work, thank you.”

I have tried a number of burgers, chicken & wraps from HFC which is based close to the Thornbury BD3 roundabout yards away from McDonalds. The service was quick and proficient with polite friendly staff and most importantly the food was extremely tasty & at a reasonable cost. Therefore I would highly recommend HFC to anyone that’s looking for a mouthwatering meal to pop down to HFC”

My order was cooked without a hitch, the pizza was delicious and the fries were perfectly cooked with a good size portion. They looked to have some good cheesecakes in the dessert chiller cabinet too.”

“Been here a few times over the years and was wary today after reading the reviews. I had a great experience today as I always have, They have a great varied menu and options of jacket potatoes for slimmers or vegetarians, fish bites meals for children. The prices I say are reasonable especially compared to others in the area. The staff were lovely people ,courteous and professional and the fish and chips were delicious especially the fish very moist with beautiful crispy batter. I only ordered a small portion of fish and chips (light bite) just over £6 and it was enough for me. Definitely be back often when in the area”
