“My wife and I used to go fairly regularly, prior to the convid lockdowns but, as it went through various changes of ownership, we went elsewhere. Anyway, as it's local, we decided to see if it was as awful as some recent reviews and went today (04/12/2025). We had an excellent experience. The staff were attentive, polite and courteous. The food was also of a high standard and, there was plenty of it. My wife had the scampi, and she had about 20 pieces on her plate! I had the steak and ale pie, and it WAS a 'pie'. Proper pastry top and bottom, not a piece of puff pastry on top of a bowl of meat. It was stuffed with lean, tender steak. Both meals came with triple cooked, hand cut, chips and, again, plenty of them. We both enjoyed our meals and, we'll be going back - a bit more regularly.”

“I've been to this Tesco when I was travelling to Leeds. The manager Frazer is the best person in this shop. He was really helpful and showed me all the things that I wanted to buy. I definitely recommend everyone to talk to him incase you'd have difficulty in finding whatever you're looking for. His customer service was spot-on. Thank you so much Frazer.”

“I ordered a bbq ringer burger a zinger wrap a cookies and cream milkshake and a panini. Despite getting mixed up the person who took my call was very polite and happy to exchange it and send a new one out. The food was absolutely lovely.”

“I'm not normally one for reviews.....I travel up an down the country and I always look for a good value meal deal to get for my tea and I was staying close to these guys tonight and there food is banging....I have had a lot of takeaway pizzas and theirs is up there ....it's not a stone baked or a traditional wood fired. It's your classic takeaway pizza but the base is good, tastes good, light and crispy with loads of toppings and cheese! No scrimping and cheap as chips for what your getting. The garlic bread was oozing with garlic butter and cheese. The chips where crispy almost like they are double cooked..not soggy or anemic like post takeaway chips....I would go here every week if I lived close by. Anyone considering should give them a go. Meal deal 4 :) an the guys where really nice, contrary to what I saw other reviews say....it's just a takeaway shop at the end of the day.....it's not a restraunt...it's a counter and food prep area, they are working in there all shift and all mucking in. Am sure there are times when they are on there phones or distracted...it's not like it's one person stood in front of a customer at the till on his phone....all the best guys and keep up those tasty scrans....FYI I had to drive back to hotel so had cooled by time I got there.”

“We ordered a week ago on the website but food never arrived, reason was due to the business being shut unexpectedly and the website still being active. As soon as I raised this with the owner he did everything he could to help get our money back regardless of what else he was dealing with which had caused the store to shut to begin with. when he was unable to, he sent the food out which we had paid for and kept in constant contact to let us know what was going on. An absolute class act who put their customers first, the kebabs we ordered were lovely and they have the best side salad around. Will definitely order from here again”
