Cafe and toilets plus kids park, really good few hours! Car park nearby (I parked in morrisons as shopping after) and you can walk around the outside, on paths and over the road.”

“This is a great place, just outside the centre. The main thing I love about this area, apart from the location and great natural vista is the fact that you can make the walk as short or long as you wish. There are so many variants using all the interconnected loops it's great on foot or bike. My only concern is too many people get to hear about it and it gets over used... Maybe a "Washlands Trust" could be started so more people can enjoy it, and it can be naturally maintained for all to enjoy. I would suggest all to go and enjoy the nature on your doorstep... responsibly.”

“Visited the Angel with my daughter, son-in-law and 8-year old granddaughter. Initial impression was the heating was on and a nice welcome from the staff, a good start! Layout is excellent as there is an area laid out as a dining room with bar situated round the corner at the opposite end of the premises. Service the bar was friendly and very efficient. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and we were satisfied with quantity and quality and felt it was very good value for money. “Superb, professional staff: my car ran into engine problems, so I parked it on the car park. The reception staff came out to offer assistance and cold drinks on sweltering 30C day. This was heaven sent with the air conditioned reception offering a welcome respite for my wife young daughter, nephew, and mum, while I waited for breakdown assistance. It's refreshingly pleasant to know first rate customer service is still out there. Thank you sincerely from myself and family.”

“WOW!!! From start to finish this whole stay was perfect, we were left high and dry by another company who we had booked the weekend with, phoned to stay here and within minutes we were booked in. As we arrived at the venue every single room was finished to one of the highest standards I have seen when it comes to an air bnb. Comfy beds, showers with great pressure in every room, it is clear to see that no expense had been spared throughout this property. The customer service was 5* The venue was 5* The sleep was 5* Access to the motorway was amazing for those travelling. We will 10000% be using here again and recommending this. Thank you.”

“The bad reviews on this are absolutely laughable, offering non UK residents accommodation and shelter for free and residents have the audacity to complain that it’s the worst place in the world due to cold water and because they had no milk, talk about ungratefulness of the highest level. “I had a blast on the Pugneys Light Railway today. Everyone I met there was superb, from the lady taking tickets to the gentleman driving the train. I had a very excitable autistic young man with me and everyone gave us plenty of space so I could make sure he was safe and enjoyed himself. The ride itself was really fun, there were two trains running so pretty much no wait to ride, and it was only £2 a head which is cracking great value. I may have to go back on my own some time!”
