“I stayed here for 5 nights. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was small, but comfortable and clean. It was more than adequate for my needs. The staff at the motel were really kind and polite. Food at the Motel was not the best I've had, but it was tasty, filling and fairly priced. There is a bar which is nice to use on the hot summer days. Jane, Alex and all the other girls made my stay.....they are all winners.”

“Had a one night stay here last Friday. Room was very comfortable. No air conditioning but there was a pedestal fan in the room which was effective. The shower was amazing. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. All the staff we met (Jane, Sue and Tonia) were really friendly and helpful.”

“We had an unplanned stay having been stuck in traffic for 7 hours. We arrived late in the evening. A lovely chap called Cain helped me book a room. His service was impressive. He was welcoming and friendly. An asset to Travel lodge. Clean room , comfy beds. Would definitely recommend.”

“Best Ibis we stayed at! Great location, close to Leeds, Xscape and outlet village. Room very spacious with big bathroom, big TV, comfy beds, tea, coffee, kettle and water available in the room. Highly recommended!”

“Had a lovely 3 night stay here with my daughter. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are genuinely friendly and take time to engage with their guests - we really felt welcomed. The buffet breakfast selection was good and items regularly replenished. The location is very central - it's an easy walk from the station, and public transport is good. Also lots of cafes, bars and eating places nearby. We took local buses to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and to Sandal Castle, and hopped on Wakefield's free bus to get to and from the Hepworth Gallery. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We have been today the 8th of May. Absolutely fantastic service from Paul in the spa, we have been before so knew where everything was. Lovely time in the pool and jacuzzi and not overcrowded. We had a afternoon tea booked after and they brought the time forward for us as we requested with no problem at all. We were served promptly by Paul again who asked if we had enjoyed the spa,which we had. Gorgeous food and choice of sandwiches and cakes. Absolutely spot on. Well worth a visit.”

“Lovely big, clean rooms with an extremely friendly host. Delicious cooked breakfast every morning. The entrance is right for a large car, but doable. The village nearby has several restaurants and pubs for food as well as two small grocery stores for food.”

“I cannot thank Kings Croft enough for hosting our wedding last weekend. From start to finish, I couldn’t fault them. All staff were attentive and friendly, and were quick to reply to my never ending questions! On the day, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was the best wedding food we’ve ever had! “Booked morning reviver spa deal. It was a fantastic, relaxing experience. The lady booking me in the spa was welcoming and conscientious and couldn't do enough. In fact all staff(waiting staff, masseuse)were all friendly and helpful. All staff frequently checked everything was ok and were very attentive. The hot stones massage was amazing and the spa facilities were fantastic, especially the outdoor hot tub. The only negative was the open ceiling between the massage rooms, which meant you could hear noises from other rooms. Despite this I would definitely recommend a visit here if you want a relaxing experience.”

“I stayed here to see family for a few days, first visit what can I say it was lovely, staff were great made me feel welcome breakfast was very tasty and the girls on breaking were great even the evening staff also the housekeeper I met that day was very pleasant, only downside the car park was full of litter shout out to Karen Caitlin Mandy and the lady on the evening shift forgot her name will definitely be back.”

“We've just had our painters meeting AGM today. We all had a meal, and the food was super. Steak and ale pie with chips and peas was excellent. The service was first class, and the staff are wonderful. We go every month. It's a lovely pub.”

“Superb, professional staff: my car ran into engine problems, so I parked it on the car park. The reception staff came out to offer assistance and cold drinks on sweltering 30C day. This was heaven sent with the air conditioned reception offering a welcome respite for my wife young daughter, nephew, and mum, while I waited for breakdown assistance. It's refreshingly pleasant to know first rate customer service is still out there. Thank you sincerely from myself and family.”

“WOW!!! From start to finish this whole stay was perfect, we were left high and dry by another company who we had booked the weekend with, phoned to stay here and within minutes we were booked in. As we arrived at the venue every single room was finished to one of the highest standards I have seen when it comes to an air bnb. Comfy beds, showers with great pressure in every room, it is clear to see that no expense had been spared throughout this property. The customer service was 5* The venue was 5* The sleep was 5* Access to the motorway was amazing for those travelling. We will 10000% be using here again and recommending this. Thank you.”
