“Always enjoy a nice lunch here after a walk around bradgate park. Variety of choice on menu. Always a good selection of fresh cakes. Dogs are welcome and treats are avaliable for them at the counter.”

“We love jubilee park, nice medium sized park, average dog walk 30mins, flat terrain. Small kids play equipment. Nice littler stream throughout. Kids love taking a little fishing net to catch crayfish. See some people with their kayaks down there. Only issues is this is the local dog park which we love but could be an issue for some people if your not a dog person. Shame it floods in winter as you can’t walk the park when it’s badly flooded.”

“We were looking for a nice atmospheric restaurant and had heard good things about Maurizio's. This place absolutely did not disappoint, the food was superb! Lasagne, pizza with forest mushrooms + the Baba dessert, all gorgeous. The best Italian food in Leicester by far. I also liked the ambiance of the restaurant, cozy and welcoming with great service.”

“WoW where do I start nice outside and ditto on the inside very clean and moden. Upon entering the member of staff was polite and helpful. I ordered my food and drink and this was bought out to my table with a good selection of condiments, The food was good size and full of taste and the cuppa wasn't a cheap make was a good cuppa. The prices was fare (really cheap in moden day) Overall very happy with this place give it a try they do breakfasts to lunch. Update its still great”

“Return visit to the northern cobbler roasters, after a moderately adequate visit a few months ago. Me and my friend decided to try again last Sunday and we was pleasantly surprised we grabbed a quick coffee and a bite to eat! The service was lovely quick and efficient. The lady who served us was so attentive and the service was brilliant! I had a caramel latte and it was Devine after being out in the cold, but the mushrooms on toast was so good, great flavor, perfect portion size and presented lovely! We had a really lovely visit and will be back! Thank you for restoring faith”

My full English was so tasty, not greasy and excellent value for money. The place is light, airy and spotlessly clean. The lady who served us was friendly and efficient . “We eat here regularly. It did change hands and we stopped going in but it is now under excellent management. It is a relaxed informal establishment for families and friends. Their vegetarian breakfasts are so good, freshly cooked, appealingly presented with generous helpings. Coffee Bean provides 'homemade' meals/food rather than coffee and microwaved snacks. We can fully recommend Coffee Bean.”

“Great visit today :) Jobin served me and I wanted to congratulate him on his exceptional customer service. I have an allergy and he was excellent. He talked me through the allergen folder, made sure that he used clean and decontaminated utensils and preparation materials and also made sure to wash his hands before serving me. He was upbeat and friendly throughout. He should be commended for this safe practice!”

“As a fellow small business owner it is very disheartening to read the fake reviews against poppys cafe. I use the cafe as and when I want and it is never dirty, grubby or the staff rude. What is more the food is always good, tasty and fresh and on the only occasion in the 2 years I have known anyone to have a query with their order Alison sorted it out ASAP. The fact that the 3 1* reviews have only ever reviewed this 1 place shows they are new fake accounts all done to sabotage a business. Very sad. You should try the Latte, the coffee is very good nice beans!! Lol”

“Came for an afternoon tea treat for mothers day, thoroughly enjoyed our visit (our 1st visit to you) we will definitely be back! The selection on the afternoon tea was delicious. I've never had such fresh sandwiches anywhere before, the bread was so soft. The selection of mini cakes was ample, as were the scones. Presentation was lovely. Very accommodating with the extra plate of goodies you provided for my son as an extra besides our paid for afternoon tea. Only slight disappointment was being served with a pot of tea each rather than being offered a choice of tea or coffee with the afternoon tea, but that's purely because I don't drink tea! I ordered a coffee separately to have with my afternoon tea instead.”

“This place is next to the pub and offer a different menu with tea , coffee and afternoon tea available with preseco as well as good selection of light bites. We have there meat platter which was large and tasty and also their goat cheese salad which my wife said was delicious. Seating in, and out perfect for a Sunday afternoon.”

“This is a very quiet Lake to the South of Watermead Park, to give wildlife peace and seclusion. It generally is not easily accessible, but there are several 'Hides' when you can watch the wildlife without causing any disturbance. Renamed August 2018 from Eco Lake to Nature Lake.”
