“Now I very rarely give 5 stars. This is your classic "front room" pub, very cosy and welcoming. Pub is split into the The saloon bar (where everyone is) and the public bar which has a pool table. One ale on, abbot (understandable for the turnover) but served very well, better than the two steeples(!) besides that usual keg fare, but one oddity of theakstons bitter on squirt. Again very friendly, thoroughly recommend.”

“Went to cafe Nero and took some reusable cups with me (the Starbucks ones in photo) and asked to make the drink in them and they did just that filling them up depends on the drinks ratio. The drinks were delicious. The mango and passionfruit fruit booster is one of the best summer drinks for sure. The mocha frappe is choclately and sweet and the biscuit iced latte is a sweet coffee drink for biscuit lovers.”

“Love this shop. You can get most items. Wish there were knitting patterns and more range of wool in all the stores as there are not many wool shops now and I like to feel the wool before I buy it. I knit every day.”

The current landlord really makes an effort to welcome and serve his guests. It’s a delight to visit there and if you’re lost for some thing to do, defo go there!!”

“My uncle lives there and has done for many years, now in his later years his needs are changing, the team at Glenhills lead by their Manager Rugi are simply the best.they keep me upto date with what is happening with my Uncle and what his needs are wether it be a different kind of care if he needs any groceries or if he needs anything at all, if they think the gp should be called I am kept informed all the time. They even organise a face time call for me as we live 4 hours away so I can see and talk to my uncle. Rugi's team are all on the same page their attentiveness, care and kindness to the homeowners is constant and exemplary I couldn't ask for more. I am forever in their debt for what they do for my precious uncle. Thank you lesley”
