“Food was hot and very tasty, enough to feed an army too! Very friendly service, would recommend to anyone in town.”
“Fairfield tavern is an amazing local pub a great range of beers, alcohol and none alcoholic drinks, service was brilliant and speedy Pool table, dart board and jukebox all available with sky sports too”
“I didnr stay at this hotel but went for dinner with friends and I just wanted to say that having eaten several times at this hotel this was the very best. The main thing was the service. We had a delightful young woman that looked after us she was efficient, knowledgeable, well presented and took our orders with minimum effort. Why cant all waiting on staff be like her. She even listened to my suggestion of a large print menu or magnifier to assist people with poor sight to remain independent whilst out. Having spoken in favour of our waiting on staff I should also say the food was lovely too.”
“Absolutely 5 star. Place is gorgeous. Food is amazing. Probably the best meal in the best surroundings I've had. Would absolutely recommend it.”
“Fantastic little market style venue. Still developing and could do with getting more shops in now but those that are there are lovely. Fantastic, friendly people. Great for the kids to get involved with arts and crafts at weekend. Social food areas and a small but fantastic gallery. Do some pottery, have some food or a coffee, dabble at community painting, get your hair done in some amazing styles whilst your there for a great price. Love this place!”
“We always enjoy going here. The garden centre has a fantastic selection of plants & for very competitive prices. The café is always busy, but the staff are only too happy to squeeze us in & their service is excellent. The food has been faultless every time & I'm pleased with what we've received, good size portions & again excellent value for money. It's one of our favourite places to stop for a light lunch. Ardderchog.”
“Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold sooner — we’ve eaten here so many times over the years, it’s definitely our go-to place! The food is always spot on, with a great choice of dishes whether you’re in the mood for ribs, burgers, or something a bit different. The portions are generous, everything is full of flavour, and there’s a really good selection of drinks to go with it too. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently excellent no matter how busy it gets. There’s a great atmosphere — relaxed, lively, and perfect for both casual meals and nights out with friends or family. Highly recommend Deadwood Smokehouse — it never disappoints!”
“Just got back from Common wood after a four day fishing trip on Llewellyn lake and had a great time, me and my pal both beat our personal best. The fish in Llewellyn are in amazing condition the place is pretty clean and tidy. The Bailiff Tony was brilliant, he came around every morning and anything we needed he sorted, he also shared his knowledge of the lake with us. We had breakfast delivered to our pegs and we also went down to the bar for a pizza and beers in the evening. The pizza’s are handmade and cooked in a pizza oven and it’s the best tasting pizza i have had in a while. The food and atmosphere is great.”
“Amazing place to eat fantastic staff friendly warm atmosphere food exceptional ,go out of there way for you !!”
“Friendly staff and good beers. We had a good time here”
“Dawn runs a marvellous, traditional Welsh pub. In 1643 Oliver Cromwell set his cannons up on the site of what would become the future pub's namesake bowling greens, then he shelled the Parish church before burning a lot of the town. One thing that's never burnt however are the dinners that fly out of Bowling Greens kitchen. Superb, hearty, honest scran. Fine selection of beers, wines & spirits, great dart board + teams, too. All welcome in this midweek drinkers experience.”
“Love this place! Managed to book a table last minute on the Friday evening a 6pm. The food was amazing, as always. Never disappointed. Lovely staff, great service. Had pigeon breast, fried zucchini, olives. The pan fried salmon, with asparagus, poached egg, Jersey royal potatoes & hollandaise sauce was exceptional. There were 4 of us, and also had a risotto, and a chicken burger. No room for desserts! Great cocktails too. Have also been for breakfast and lunch before now! Would highly recommend.”
“First delivery from here from me and wont be the last! Had the set meal for 2 and the food was lovely and arrived on time! Great place !”
“We're not local to this takeaway but we have no issues with traveling further for a takeaway from here. Put simply - the food and the service is fantastic! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Reasonably priced, delightful staff and a quick service considering how busy they are.”
“Salt and pepper anything is good from here”
“Stopped for food tonight, absolutely first class really nice and good service, the bar had good atmosphere and staff were great”
“Best Chinese in mold! The staff are always friendly and the food is 10/10”

“We walk past this place near enough every day and it always smells incredible - so we had a little payday treat last night and it did not disappoint. The pizza was delicious and the chicken strips were SO crispy - the fries were perfect, and LOTS of them! On top of that the 2 ladies were super friendly and the shop was very welcoming and clean. Will defo be returning - probably more regularly that I should...”

“Absolutely brilliant thank you xxxx”
“Magical!!! They've started the Christmas display & it is literally spectacular. Can't see a Lemax display yet, but the Christmas lights arbour more than makes up for it. Going into the Christmas tree section feels like a grotto in itself! And of course, stunning decorations as always.”
“Small compared to other Icelands but stock well and always have what I want , it ques at tills but it flows very quickly. Always clean and shelves always getting refilled.”
“A wonderful shop with great staff, I live in Wrexham on a new road, but I prefer this one, I have had great impressions of the people and the staff. I wish them all the best and much, much success”
“Nice place to shop. Ranging from grocer to house hold gadgets to laundry. It’s not toooo huge and this makes my shopping relaxed and less tiring”
“We had our wedding here in July 2024. What an amazing day it was. The staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough! Everything we needed was included in the dream wedding package. From the ceremony set up, to the reception to the food and the evening party, everything was how I wanted it and nothing was to much. I would definitely recommend rossett hall. We will never forget our special day and all the effort that you put in to it.”
“Excellent location in the centre of town, perfect for an away fan going to Wrexham. Staff were all very friendly and happy to help. They let us park in the car park early before check in. Lovely clean rooms with everything you expect and need for a short stay. Breakfast was lovely. Overall great value for money, if I'm ever back in the town I will definitely stay here again.”
“Definitely the best Indian cuisine in all of Wrexham. I’ve dined in a few times and the staff always make you feel so welcome. The food is spot on every time—and the delivery is just as good! I highly recommend the king prawn vindaloo—it’s full of flavour and absolutely delicious. They even wished me luck before I tucked into it, but it’s my usual order!”
“Food and service is amazing. Delicious food each time I have been and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you to the lovely Irish gentleman that served us today, had great helpful advice for a friend who is potentially gluten free and had great banter with us all. Restaurant come highly recommend”
“One of the best priced places for petrol in Wrexhan. Quite a few offers on to save money too eg spend £60 on groceries save 10p per litre on fuel Plenty of pumps at least 16 places to fuel up. You can pay at the pump or in the kiosk. Sometimes at the pump you won’t get a receipt. The kiosk has a good stock of many things including newspapers and magazines, chocolates and sweets, snacks and drinks, Costa coffee and some frozen bits and bobs. Lots of things for your car can be purchased from here too: whether it’s de-icer and and ice scraper or windscreen wash you need. The staff in here are always really helpful. You can put air in your tyres here for a small charge (50p I think). A very convenient petrol station for the middle of town and you can collect your clubcards here too.”
