“Wow...what can I say this place is a little Gem!! It is my weekly treat to go here for Saturday breakfast whilst my son does Jujitsu. The food is OUTSTANDING. Always tasty and always fast. Tom and his team not only serve amazing food but they do it in what is simply an amazingly friendly and welcoming way. Not only would I recommend this truly fantastic establishment. I would go as far as to say that if you are in the Wigan area this is the only place to go if your hungry.”

“This was a lovely little cafe but it is indeed little. There is limited space if you have a pram. We coincidentally went in with a travel stroller that we could close off and put in a corner but we would not have managed with our pram. However, staff were very friendly and food was delicious. I did find the menu confusing, in the sense that I was not sure what the theme of the menu was (if this makes sense), because I somewhat expected a lot of Maltese food but this was very limited. Nonetheless, the food was clearly prepared with love and care and it was simple full of taste. We even had a dessert for take away and it was gorgeous as well. We will most definitely visit again.”

“The Eatery in Chester is a brilliant place to stop and eat, wether you want a cake and coffee or a meal its perfect. We had tea which was hot and strong and a scone with proper butter and jam. It was delicious, the scone was very soft and they warmed it which was a lovely touch. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming and the staff very nice and helpful. We will definately come again on our next visit to Chester.”

“Another place that I've walked past for years but had never popped in. I met up with a friend and found it to have great vibes, quirky decor and lovely inviting staff. While sat down I had to use the WiFi to reveal the QR code contents. I personally love matcha and so to see so many variants I was beaming. I ended up creating a fresh strawberry and cream matcha. It was perfectly made and tasted yummy. There was no pressure to leave either as appreciated we spent some time there with just that one round of drinks we just not had seen each other for a while m I would definitely return anyway!”

Great service, the lady who served me was really friendly and helpful when I asked about milk free things. My only complaint is being charged 50p more for soya milk which is quite a lot on top of the price of the coffee. Great little place to stop especially on a sunny day I could have stayed for hours”

I have a friend who passed away and the way I was treated by Sarah and Dawn was completely first class just having a cup of tea and some toast was a warm reminder that there are some truly lovely people in the world. “This is a great little cafe. Prices are quite reasonable and food (mini breakfast) was cooked well and was tasty. Lovely location next to the Abbey. We sat outside and it was pleasant in the garden.”

Alpacas and chickens walking past the window My son as able to feed the Alpacas at our time arrival.”
