“Lovely small park with bandstand, cafe, seating and public toilets. There was slso a pirate art installation there and a miniature cottage for children to play in, complete with a tea set. Absolutely stunning.”

There's a great variety of food at reasonable prices, catering for vegetarian, vegan, and meat eaters. The service is fast, the staff are helpful and friendly - and delivery is free if you've done a full shopload. If you're a pensioner ask about the food reductions on a Tuesday as Iceland have led the charge in offering help during these difficult times. It is a supermarket that deserves to be shopped in as they have demonstrated they are a place that cares - from the CEO, to the workers in the shop isles.”

“Had a motorbike seat renovated here. Previous owner had had the seat lowered and taken out nearly all the foam, could feel the plastic of seat through it, material was a poor fit and coming away. Jimmy refilled the foam and recovered the seat with new material, added nice stitching to match the bike colour . He did a fantastic job, couldn't be more pleased. “Went in to get a new gas cooker which I did not really want as I was just swapping old for new. I thought I would have to run a cable from fuce box to get a electric oven. After a lot of advice from a very knowledgeable owner he explained a single oven only required a 240 v connection. A double oven needs running from fuse box. So I opted for a single oven and was expecting a couple of weeks for fitting. I was shocked when he said will fit it tomorrow. The gas was capped by a gas engineer and the guy then came and fitted the oven. The oven fitter was also a great guy explaining a lot of things to me. You just do not get service like this any more and from now on I will not use anyone else for my white goods. You have a customer for life. So next purchase will be a fridge freezer in the next few weeks.”

“New Brighton Beach exceeded all expectations. The sandy shoreline is spacious and clean, perfect for long walks or just lounging under the sun. The views across the Mersey are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset – a photographer’s dream! There’s plenty to do for everyone: kids love the promenade and the funfair nearby, while adults can enjoy the cafés, bars, and independent shops just a stone’s throw from the beach. Even on busy days, the atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming. Whether you're local or visiting, it's the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Already looking forward to my next trip!”

“Nice place to walk all the way up and down. Plenty things to see and do, that will please grown ups and kids for a full day. Best thing to do for a weekend.”

“We had unfortunately gotten a flat tyre on the ride home from birkenhead. I stopped into rightwards to see about a puncture repair kit and met Steve. He was so kind and even fixed our tyre there and then for us so we could ride home. He was lovely and super helpful”

“A really nice cafe bar where we had Scouse, a potato ash stew with lovely fresh bread and butter, pickled beetroot and pickled red cabbage. The red cabbage was pretty awful but the rest was lovely, very tasty. Free parking and lots of space for the dog to have a run around,, we had a really lovely day here.”
