“Lovely small park with bandstand, cafe, seating and public toilets. There was slso a pirate art installation there and a miniature cottage for children to play in, complete with a tea set. Absolutely stunning.”

The views across the Mersey are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset – a photographer’s dream! There’s plenty to do for everyone: kids love the promenade and the funfair nearby, while adults can enjoy the cafés, bars, and independent shops just a stone’s throw from the beach. Even on busy days, the atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming. Whether you're local or visiting, it's the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer than planned. “Amazing life size model of a pirate ship complete with wheel, mast and cannons! My partner and I loved running about acting like children on the ship! (Even though we are both in our 20's) Great fun to be had by all.”

“This place is fantastic for kids up to 12 years. We took 7 kids here and they all loved it and had so much fun. The slides are great, the only issue being the mats get taken up the stairs by the staff abit slow so the slide is constantly being closed after around 10 children have used it. So taking 7 they had to keep waiting. Also we arrived 20 mins into a session and didn't want to wait 40 mins for the next one with 7 kids waiting so we had to lose 20 mins off our hour, it would make sense to just let us have the extra 20 mins at the end of the session as it wasn't busy at all. The kids liked it.”

It definitely made the trip that bit more special which made me personally very happy so thank you so much, Charlotte ♥️ Our drinks were prepared quickly and perfectly by the barista who made them, so thank you so much for that as well!
