“My local newsagent. Pretty much a standard newsagent really, good to have a source of milk so close by. Its a tiny shop but they do have the essentials, though not all the essentials. Say you one day fancy climbing a mountain, to try find a mountain goat, this is the wrong place to go. Perhaps an outdoor clothing specialist store would be more suited for you. I was tempted to give this newsagent 4 stars out of 5 as unfortunately, they do not stock coconuts. I feel every newsgent and supermarket by law should stock coconuts. Cracking open a coconut and drinking that coconut water is da bomb.”

“We had a kitchen fitted in September 2017 and were so pleased with all aspects that we went back to have 2 fitted wardrobes made and installed in April 2018; this in itself speaks volumes about the quality of the work. They didn't even want a deposit in advance! This is a local company who take a no-nonsense, no fuss approach to designing and fitting kitchens and bedrooms to a very high standard. Ian's thoroughly professional approach to design is really appreciated as it gives you confidence in the work that will be done. He also has very good ideas to help you get exactly what you want. The team that fitted both our kitchen and bedroom were great; they were a pleasure to have in the house! Our house was treated with respect while they worked and they cleaned up properly at the end of the day! Clearly, the lads in the workshop probably don't get the recognition they deserve but it is clear that their work is of a very high standard and makes the fitting as straight forward as possible. Sara and Elaine provide great support in a friendly yet professional manner and were a great help in offering ideas and setting our minds straight when we asked questions. We cannot praise them enough for the work they have done for us and we can recommend them without any reservations at all. If you want a kitchen, fitted bedroom or bathroom then this is the place to go for quality workmanship and peace of mind. A great local company who operate nationally.”

“We recently used Pemberton Flowers for a Coffin Spray and some Flower Buttonholes, for my Nan’s funeral. The Coffin Spray was absolutely stunning, and the perfect colours for my Nan (Lilac, Purple and White) and the Buttonholes matched perfectly. The flowers were so fresh and the staff were very patient and helpful. As a family, we would highly recommend Pemberton Flowers, and will be using their services regularly in future!”

“So refreshing to visit somewhere and not be ripped off! The food is fresh, good portion sizes and so reasonably priced. Less than £30 for three meals plus drinks including a smoothie and luxury hot chocolate, and freshly baked goodies - 2 brownies, granola bar and large cookie. Bonus points for being dog friendly and offering a cute dog menu. Rose really enjoyed the scrambled eggs. Will definitely be back!”

I explained (in a 'little woman', way, my quote, not theirs) a frustrating problem with soft close toilet hinges which I had logically worked out the problem but not absolutely defined how to solve it. Problem for months spending hours trying to fathom it. They listened patiently and came up with a solution. So grateful. Thank you guys M Kay”

“Since this is my first time visiting this place, I thought I would share my experience. Nice clean place, with a relaxing atmosphere, did have a slight difficult ordering my food due to my speech implement, but the person who was serving me was patient and polite. The food was excellent and lovely. The only down side, was the parking, but lucky a friend showed me where to park. All in all, definitely recommend visiting 'The Old Bank Coffee & Wine'.”
