The staff were absolutely fantastic and really helpful asking me if I needed any help or advice and we’re so friendly! I was on my own in the shop and didn’t feel intimidated or put off in anyway. The shop is set out really nice in colour categories so I found this really helpful for if i wanted a particular colour. “I'd spent four years riding my mountain bike to near destruction, and it needed some serious attention. After being turned away by some of the big names in cycling (yet they always bleat about losing money) I turned to Jez. A couple of my colleagues had recommended him, saying his work was first class. Jez clearly cares about his craft, and it does seem a lot more than just a job to him. His passion shines through, in the finished job. He replaced my whole drive train, bottom bracket, headset, and trued up my rear wheel, whilst servicing the freehub. A complete service of the front and rear shock, and some other sundry items, has now got my bike riding better than when it was new. All this was completed within a week. I'm very grateful to Jez for getting my beast up and running again, and as he's less than a mile from me, I'll make him my first choice for any repairs or maintenance in future, rather than just bodging the job myself. Give him a go, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.”

“I dine here with a friend at least once a week and we absolutely love it. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. We have breakfast most visits and they are freshly cooked to order. This week we have thoroughly enjoyed their festive menu with different people (twice). Excellent food, piping hot and very reasonably priced. They have an extensive menu and they cater for most people’s taste/preferences. They are happy for my friends dog to accompany us and the fact that many of their customers are regulars tells you everything. They are an excellent asset to our village and for some pensioners a social lifeline.”
