As ever the service was excellent, the food was perfectly cooked and quick to arrive and the cake I took away was just to die for. Highly recommend going here, but pay attention to the times on the menu...I very narrowly avoided missing out on a proper breakfast because I didn't check the times properly!”

“Held my 40th Birthday Party at the old courts last week. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. It has real atmosphere. Michelle the host was super attentive and helped me sort out a bar tab for first drinks and a cocktail for the night. It was all very laid back and easy to deal with them - no drama. I was particularly pleased when they cut the cake into pieces for me - not a job I was looking forward to. The whole team were fab, friendly and helpful. It is so cheap to hire too! “A really lovely pub right in the edges of the marshes abd views across the river Dee into North Wales.... Lovely traditional pub inside and lots of benches outside. It's a great stop off for cyclists and walkers making their way along the coastal path and cycle routes. Never had food here, but great selection of fine beers and warm welcome”

“Well kept, lovely and spacious park. Lots of events, clearly excellent ranger team. Café food is basic but nice enough for a quick pit stop, the prices are very affordable, cafe staff are lovely and efficient. Definitely recommend visiting here. The only negative is that on event days the toilets by the cafe are not cleaned and stocked frequently enough so can be unpleasant. On a normal day they are a bit dated but clean.”

He saw me getting a bit flustered with ordering (my youngest daughter has issues with food and is extremely hard to order for) and he was willing to help me by customising some food so that she would eat it and he didnt have to. she did eat it, which in itself was an achievement.
