The first time we took our cat she was quite nervous but the team gave her so much attention that she settled quickly and had a great stay. The team were also great at sending through photos and email updates to us which put our mind at rest. Our cat has now completed two stays at Oak Ride with a third booked for the summer and every time she has come back happy and healthy. Thank you Oak Ride!”

The gardens at RHS Wisley are always lovely, but Glow adds a whole new dimension to them. Definitely rug up, because it gets cold at night! The restaurant itself is somewhat dated, but that’s not a criticism, it’s like walking back in time and the level of service reflects that. The waiters and all staff we dealt with were very kind and entertaining. The food, well, the food was sublime! I would recommend to anyone and we will be returning in a few weeks to try some other items on the menu! Fresh bread and butter on arrival was a nice touch, especially because the bread rolls were shaped like tiny loafs which was a nice touch!”

I can safely say it did - and we had a brilliant experience. It's a close shave between this restaurant and Stovells in Chobham for the title of most special restaurant we've visited in Surrey. Clock House may just take it - as not only is the food first class, so is the atmosphere, dining room and service. Looking forward to the next special occasion which might warrant a return here. Let's hope they achieve a Michelin star too - they deserve it.”
