“We hired Grant and his wood fired oven/van for a private party at our house. He parked on our front drive and served pizzas 6 at a time, for about 3 hours. His pizzas were amazing everyone absolutely loved them. He and his staff were so friendly and accommodating I can’t recommend them highly enough. I would definitely use again for another party or just a takeaway on a Thursday or Friday night.”

As all Ladies know, a 'good' hair-dresser is a necessity not a luxury because all of us want to look our best and having our hair looking its best not only enhances our entire 'look' but also gives us self-confidence and self-esteem which are both important for our mental and emotional health so the hunt was now on for me to find a local hair salon that I could afford on my very strict budget so I consulted Google Chrome for a five-star rated local salon and one came up which had five-star reviews on all their reviews and that impressed me and gave me confidence that my hair would be well taken care of and I was right. The Salon is: 'drum-roll'........ Dawn Claire Salon, 82 Parrock Road, Echo Square, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 1QF. I made my appointment and went last week and was immediately impressed by the location, decor and immediate attention and smile I got as soon as I stepped in from a lovely Lady who ushered me in-to a beautifully stylish, contemporary and fully equipped salon. I was immediately checked regarding my name and appointment, offered refreshments and all the cordial, complementary enhancements politely and kindly which impressed me and put me at ease that I am in the right place. My hair got serviced on-time and that impressed me as I have been to salons in the past where you are kept waiting for ages after your appointment time. I was asked questions about my hair, what I wanted and my hair was examined too which told me that they were highly qualified professional hair-dressers and I was right! My hair was excellently dealt with professionally and no time was wasted and all the staff I came in-to contact with were professional, polite, friendly, kind and efficient and the atmosphere was organised with every-one working and working well as a team, controlled, relaxing and pleasant and the toilet area I used was squeaky clean which told me a lot about the very high standards there which I was further impressed with. When my hair was finished I was astounded and in shock because my hair was such a diabolical mess when I came in that I thought it was impossible to make any-thing of it so I am now their new Client for life and with all honestly the high-end expensive salon I used to go to comes second to this one!! I can-not recommend them highly enough to every woman who cares about her appearance and wants to look the very best she can at any age and stage of her life as I do and the 'icing-on-the-cake' is that on my budget, I can afford it!!”

It's hidden away down Queen Street in Gravesend - a quiet area of the town close to parking. OMG - this is heaven if you, like my missus, love all foods that come out of an ocean or river. What can I say. Great food (couldn't fault anything at all), very good service, very friendly family run business, reasonably priced too. They specifically made a fresh pizza for our three year old son (it was delicious by the way). If you, like us, love seafood....or if you want to grab a freshly made true Italian pizza, then I'd recommend The Boys anytime. We're so impressed we will be going back real soon.”
