“Went there tonight with my boyfriend and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the prawn puri, green chilli lamb and peshwari naan. The flavours were awesome and the lamb was super succulent. Portions sizes were definitely value for money, left the restaurant feeling really full! The staff are one of a kind, we were served by 'chris brown' and 'sean paul'- super friendly, very attentive and offered a great customer service. We also had a gourmet society card which gave us a discount off our bill - usually with these things you don't expect as good a service but I can happily say I couldn't ask for better. Will definitely visit again!”

“I ordered chicken tikka jalfrezi, a little bit oily but the spice level was just right, very tasty. Garlic naan was fresh, poppadoms and chutney perfect, with a nice glass of reasonably priced wine. The prices were very reasonable, the restaurant very clean. It was early when I got there, about 6pm, so I was the only person there. The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere was that the waiters were having a very loud and lively conversation throughout my meal right next to me at the front counter.”

I ordered the lamb bhuna with garlic naan and a Coca-Cola, and all of this was priced under 12 pounds, which is incredibly reasonable. The lamb bhuna was exceptionally well-cooked and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices that enhanced the taste without overpowering the dish. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, and perfectly complemented the rich flavors of the lamb. I’ve tried multiple Desi restaurants where I ended up paying double or even triple the amount for what was supposed to be a good experience, but none of them came close to the quality and value offered by Chatkara. The quick service was another highlight, as my meal was served promptly despite the restaurant being fairly busy. It's clear that Chatkara takes pride in both their food and their service, ensuring that customers leave satisfied and eager to return. Based on my experience and the overall atmosphere, I can confidently say that Chatkara Restaurant deserves all the praise it gets. It truly beats all the other places I've tried in terms of both quality and value. If you're looking for an authentic Desi dining experience that won't break the bank, I highly recommend giving Chatkara a visit.”

“I had lunch today at Khana Khazana, Upton Park, and it was an excellent experience! The restaurant was very clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The lamb curry and butter chicken were top class. The butter naan and garlic naan were soft and tasty, and the mango lassi was refreshing. The poppadoms were delicious as well. Highly recommended — one of the best places for authentic Indian/Pakistan/Bangladesh food in Upton Park!”

“Really liked the food there. Love all the options on the menu and everything was delicious and some dishes were even spicy which satisfied me since I love very spicy food. Especially these drunken noodles, they're not for the faint hearted. I would highly recommend the tom yum soup which is packed with flavors and full of good stuff inside, the clams that were oddly addictive yet spicy and the stir fried seabass that I could not stop munching on the entire dinner time ! Service was nice, and overall a solid place for Thai food.”

“Firstly, I am writing this straight after our meal because this is soooooo amazing!!! Me and my partner walked past this place, and we are so insanely happy we did. We had no intention of getting food, but wow. Honestly one the best thais we’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of thai. We had the chicken paneng, stir fried minced chicken with basil, garlic rice and prawn toast. Each dish was so packed with flavour, even the sauces that came with the free thai crackers! I am already excited to come back. If I was going to be really picky, i’d say the portion sizes are per person. However me and my partner shared these meals, and we are full. If you want left overs, just double up. But you will not be disappointed! I would highly recommend, and we both will be back very soon!”

“I have been to la Cantina Sociale for a quick lunch break and I had a delicious puccia with octopus, it was simply delicious. What a like about this place is that they really make food in the Italian way and use first quality products, the octopus was super tasty and fresh. The waiter and the owner are very friendly, too. Will definately go back for pizza and a nice aperitif in the terrace. Highly recommended !!!”

“I've not been to the restaurant but I do order their food via Just Eat. The delivery guys are always friendly, delivery is very prompt, usually arrives a lot earlier than time given. Food is really very good, I prefer it to any of the local places nearer to me and it always arrives piping hot. Highly recommend.”

“I was introduced to this Beijing restaurant by a Malaysian friend, and I was truly impressed. The food here is very authentic you can taste Malaysian flavours, Hong Kong-style dishes, and traditional Chinese flavours as well. I believe they must have chefs from different backgrounds, because they manage to deliver such a wide range of delicious and authentic dishes. The service is excellent too. The staff are polite, friendly, and very efficient. You can tell that the management is responsible and pays attention to the details, whether it’s clearing tables or serving dishes. Everything feels well organized and professional. I also really enjoyed the karaoke section. After dinner, it’s a great place to relax, sing, and have a small gathering with friends. The system works smoothly, the song selection is up to date, and overall it adds a fun and lively atmosphere to the restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and has a classy, almost five star feel compared to many places in the area. Overall, great food, great service, and a great environment. Highly recommended!”

“Very ‘authentic’ HK style dimsum - love it here! A little bit pricey, but hey it is Kingston after all! Lucky to have this spot as a local restaurant. This branch was very good, service was extremely quick and very friendly and polite, especially our server Louisa. Lots of good cocktail and drink choices too, which you wouldn't necessarily expect from somewhere like this. Would definitely recommend!”

“Loved the food! Excellent quantity and staff was super friendly as well. The doner sandwich was lip-smackingly delicious and it was full of well seasoned chicken doner, salad and sauces! The Melt Burger consisted of a smashed beef patty which was combined with melted cheese, and that beef patty was so tender, it made the burger one of the juiciest ones I’ve ever had. Since I ordered the meal, burger came with the crispiest seasoned fries. Lastly, the mozzarella sticks were super cheesy and crispy. I also opted for a few sauces from the vast selection of sauces, such as the special cocktail sauce, chilli sauce and the garlic sauce, and all of them were excellent. I absolutely loved everything I ate and I can’t wait to go back!”
