“Hands down the best tortillas in all of London, and best tacos de carnitas too! Handmade blue corn tortillas really make the taco, and the fillings don’t disappoint. We tried tinga de pollo, pollo con mole, and chicharrón prensado. All of them were really good, but the absolute best were the tacos de carnitas. Deliciously moreish, so good we had to take some home, along with a couple dozen tortillas and salsa. Tere kindly packed carnitas and toppings for us, which we had today at home. And now I’m completely hooked, I’ll have go back for more soon. If you have a gathering at home (from a few guests to a big party), you can preorder tortillas, fillings, and toppings and you’ll impress everyone. The service is warm and attentive, and Tere makes everyone’s visit special. ¡Gracias! P.S. I’m from Mexico City. Some reviews have been critical of the ambience and waiting times. This is a market food stall, like the best ones in Mexico City, and there’s a special charm in that. As for waiting times, they are quite quick for London, way faster than any pub. “Never tried schnitzel food first time went to this restaurant n truly loved The sizzling Hawain the best in love juicy crispy overload, and the Mushroom Arancini is a delicious mix of crispy and creamy - a golden shell with a rich, earthy mushroom risotto centre. “We went for my son’s 9th birthday and everything was great. My son loved the food and he is a fussy eater! He ate the tomato pasta with garlic bread. Six people came including three adults and three children. Two children ate adult meals and all rated 5*s. I loved the atmosphere and the chef and waitress were amazing and attentive. I ate the seafood spaghetti and I enjoyed it i would say 4 out of 5. The pizza looked amazing and the calamari are definitely the two that stood out and we all took a liking to. My seat did need a shake to remove a little mess and the table had minor crumbs. Otherwise the table was ready when we arrived as I called ahead. All was put right quickly and we all very much enjoyed the meal.”

“My 1st visit was November 24 and somehow I got mixed feelings for this place. After reading good reviews and that they have been rewarded one of the best when I went there felt a little disappointing. Stuff were absolutely chaotic and shouting to one another not paying attention to clients. The menu was missing many meals who can you have a fish section and only serve prawns and no other fish. I ordered keema naan and it was crispy and had like a blob of meat in the middle. Most of the food I eat in other places is far better. The atmosphere with this blue light is blinding.”

“We fancied some seafood and headed down to Seawise Street Seafood Bar. We heard lots of good things and were not disappointed. We ordered the squid rings freshly prepared and cooked, and the butterfly King Prawns we asked for the spicy option. I must say they were the tastiest prawns I've ever had. The squid was delicious too. We also brought some cockles which were plump and not at all gritty, dressed crab and some shell on prawns. The crab came with coriander and red onion, which nicely complimented the crab. Very tasty and would highly recommend. Thank you for our tasty dinner.”
