“Our Pakistani friend took us to Haweli restaurant in Ilford for dinner. We had lamb and chicken curry, lamb biryani, various kebabs, it was delicious, and our first time having Pakistani food, we all loved it. Sumbul provided excellent service. She was very polite and hospitable.”

“I ordered Nihari and Naan which was amazingly tasty. Quantity was sufficient for two people and stomach filling as well. Naan was fresh and hot. Service is very fast. Non veg here is halaal. The restaurant is very spacious and has good seating capacity. The staff is very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely visit again.”

“Adana never disappoints! The staff are absolutely amazing—welcoming, friendly, and always make you feel like a valued customer. I ordered the grilled chicken, wings, and calamari, and every single item was incredible. The chicken was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, the wings were juicy with just the right amount of spice, and the calamari was tender and delicious. You can really taste the quality and care they put into their food.”

“The food here was absolutely top notch everything was full of flavour. My favourite was the Lahmacun & Adana Kofte soft, juicy and meaty just the way it should be. The Lahmacun was thin and filled with toppings. Everything here was really enjoyable and it’s the perfect spot if you need a Turkish and wanna go with the family.”

“This is a great expense, one that could be tried by anyone. There are some great choices available for starters, soups or mains and desserts, this place truly has something for everyone. From the outside it looks like a hotel lobby restaurant or something you'd find in central London. Inside is a nice looking banquet hall. The food is delicious and consistent, I've had 3 courses that I was equally pleased and impressed by. My favourite was ciorbă de burtă (tripe soup), although the sarmale (stuffed cabbage) was also really tasty. Don't forget about papanași (doughnuts?). 9/10 would go again, thoroughly recommended.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Sahara Grill and wanted to give special mention to Abdur Rahman, who served us. He was very professional and, for a trainee, did an excellent job. He was attentive in a calm, subtle way, checking in on us during the meal and making sure we were comfortable without interrupting the experience. Little thoughtful touches showed his awareness and good service, which really helped us feel relaxed. Food-wise, everything was enjoyable, but the Angus short rib was a standout – absolutely a hit and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, a very positive experience. “Very good clean packaging! Great customer service! Good portions and FRESH salads! Not soggy and old salads like most places give. The nihari was amazing, the roti and naan were nice too. Their chicken curry is amazing! All of their curries are really nice, best Pakistani food in the area! The biryani was nice but tasted a bit dry and I only got one small piece of meat which was disappointing. I’ll order again because the food was still really nice!”

“We went there around 6 pm weekday. We were first to go , all the items were fresh and hot. Chicken tikka, sheekh kebab , fish fry , chicken wings , haleem were hot , spicy , fresh, no bad smell at all. Nalli Nihari was good, lamb karahi was more like Bengali curry but the taste was superb. Chicken biryani was also awesome with some excellent flavours. My family with kids thoroughly enjoyed this delicious food. Compare to Royal nawab , items are less but I can vouch for the taste which is better than Royal nawab. Adult 18 pounds , kids under 10 is 9 pounds.”
