With sleek new chiller cabinets and display shelves, the revised layout is a huge improvement on the cluttered old store. My only criticism is that the self-service checkouts are extremely close to each other.”

“Initially I went in to purchase a coffee from the Costa machine, however the machine had some kind of fault. Ignacio saw me and came over apologizing for the fault, whilst being empathetic, Ignacio was kind enough to recommend an alternative coffee to go from the fridge. As I also saw there were no cheese twists Ignacio displayed magnificent customer service as he went to look from the bakery section from the warehouse where he advised they were due to come out shortly - In the meantime Ignacio was extremely friendly and positive and was easy to approach and talk to. He also set an alarm while we were chatting so I would get the freshest, warmest cheese twist which I believe was a great use of his initiative! Finally he packed the cheese twist for me and was kind enough to assist me on the self service check out. This is what true customer service means to me, going above and beyond for a customer, Ignacio really made me smile throughout the whole day. 10/10 stars all the way!!!”

“Friendly staff, variety of stock. Fresh fruit and veg varied and good. Definitely ‘international’; such a wide range. Tried Foxnuts (Makhana) for first time. You can buy snacks and go and sit in park across the road - hardly any children/families use it and the swings are a really good height for adults. Oh, mustn’t forget the range of dates and real Turkish Delight they have too. All in all, been three times as I worked in neighbourhood and took colleagues in to explore second and third time - it’s like an emporium of amazing loveliness”
