We were served by some really lovely ladies who made us feel very comfortable. There was a live singer while we were there which was exciting. “Visited this evening for the first time. Lovely authentic food. Excellent friendly service. You could taste all the flavours and freshness of all the ingredients. Will be recommending to my friends and family, and definitely visiting again. Its not local to us (About 7-8 miles) but definitely worth the trip. We had Tikka , Korma and Butter Chicken, with the best naan breads ive ever tried. The mince samosas we had as a starter were also crisp and lovely and not greasy or overpowering at all. Gem of a place!”

“We held our work Christmas Party here last night (38 people!). I can't say enough good things about it. From the whole booking process through to the brilliant service on the night, the team at TD&H did an exceptional job. The food was delicious and came out perfectly timed (not easy with a party of 38), the drinks never stopped flowing, there were plenty of staff to look after us and (icing on the cake) there was great live entertainment after the meal, which meant we felt like it was a proper party. Thanks so much to the team - we are really grateful for a wonderful evening.”

“Unbelievable food! Proper home cooked meal for good value 100% will be back for some winter grub. Good choice of drinks, wine glasses aren’t the best if you’re a wine glass snob like me but other than that can’t complain at all. Really nice pub we will be back. Staff are really friendly but had to ask twice for the bill and still ended up paying at the bar. Only negative to say.”

“Thai restaurant in the Epping forest with outdoor and indoor seating and lots of parking. With wide range of options in the menu and the taste is really good and authentic. Service was friendly and fast. This is a definitely must try Thai place with family.”

“Came to the owl yesterday, 5 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog, such a beautiful pub, excellent food and drinks and lovely service too, the staff were so friendly towards the kids, even helping them to get the free dog treats from the bar!! “Wow what can I say. The kings oak event team executed our wedding perfectly. We had the best day!! It was honestly the most incredible venue. Paula and Linzi on the day were amazing making sure I was calm and everyone was in place and the day ran smoothly. The food was INCREDIBLE! So many people have said to me it’s the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Christian the toastmaster was lovely! The DJ provided was very good and really friendly! Photo Booth and chocolate fountain were included and were incredible, all the guests raved about them! I couldn’t fault the place. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding a reality, the venue is stunningly beautiful and every last detail is perfect.”

“Saturday afternoon pub lunch in the sun with the kids. 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals came to about £40 without drinks, which I felt was really reasonable. I had the tandoori chicken skewers and it was absolutely delicious. Came with fries, hot sauce, tatziki, grains and salad. Couldn't fault it. My partner had the sea bass which she loved and was a nice healthier option too. Also tried the chocolate brownie which was to die for.”

“Awesome place! I cannot recommend this place enough. We're so glad that we came across it and decided to check it out. The food was AMAZING and the buffalo wings were so delicious. The Cali loaded fries are THE BEST. But putting all that aside, the service was by far the best we've experience in London! Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is just another level. Special shout-out to Miguel who served us and explained everything as it was our first time. We don't live local, but we'd definitely drive back to that specific branch for the awesome and friendly service. Thanks guys.”

“Just wandered in after a lovely big walk in Epping forest with a good old friend, and I have to say, what a fantastic weatherspoons! Ordered a small freshly battered cod and chips with mushy peas and a leffe blonde to wash it down (lunchtime deals of course! £6.99?! Can’t say fairer than that!) Can confidently say it was the best weatherspoons food I’ve ever had, fish was perfectly cooked, fantastically crispy batter whilst maintaining a juicy succulent cod piece in the middle, and might I say generous portions for a small plate! Perfectly poured crisp pint to top it all off, what more could you ask for? The last post? It’s my FIRST choice in Loughton let me tell you that much :)”

“The Hub has by far the best served pint in Debden. I was there for a post wedding ceremony get together and the quality of service and beer was top notch. Awesome value for money also. They were also serving food and it seemed very popular and also looked to be very generous portions. I will definitely visit again and eat also.”
